My husband was placed at Willow Lodge following a difficult time in hospital. He was immediately made to feel very welcome and treated with respect, whilst being shown unlimited love and care from management and all staff. The family was made to feel very welcome and at ease with the situation. We were
shown compassion at what was a challenging time and can rest at peace, knowing he is looked after like a family member.
Staff are committed to ensuring that all residents are kept safe and are happy within the home environment. Food is excellent and is tailored to what individuals like and clothing is always immaculate. I would not hesitate to recommend Willow Lodge to anyone looking for a care home for their loved one.

The management and all staff at Willow Lodge are professional, empathetic, caring and inspirational to watch.
I feel my brother is safe, loved and cared for.
I recently spent quite a lot of time at the home and was impressed by everything I saw - it was the birthday of a couple of residents and
the extra effort all the team made to make the residents feel special was amazing.
I am so grateful we found Willow Lodge - I wish more care homes had the same standards of love, care and professionalism that is on display at Willow Lodge.

I had asked Mum's care home manager if we could hold a small tea party at the care home to celebrate Mum's 90th birthday. The care home manager said yes and was more than supportive and helpful to ensure the tea party could take place. The home provided a tasty buffet and the care home cook made a delicious
birthday cake! All of Mum's close family and their children and especially Mum had a very enjoyable afternoon that we would remember for a long time to come.

I would like to take this opportunity to review the service provided by Willow Lodge Care Home.
My father recieves residential care at Willow Lodge, he has resided there for approximately 18 months.
It was an extremely difficult and stressful time for myself and my sister when we had to make the
decision to place my father in a care home, it was very upsetting and a really emotional time. We were very worried and concerned as to whether we had made the correct decision and if we had chosen the right care home for him. I can now honestly say that we need not have worried at all. From the outset, we have been delighted with the care my father recieves and the way we as a family are provided with updates on his wellbeing. In short, we are over the moon with Willow Lodge. I resist the temptation to name individual members of staff because I would be most upset if I left anybody out, they have all been patient, caring, and professional and I cannot recommend any higher.

My mum had been residing at Willow Lodge for a little under 2 and a half years. It was a difficult decision at the time but I was quickly assured that Willow Lodge was the right place for mum. Mum's needs were met. Staff got to know mum so well, that a bespoke fidget gadget with buttons and zips was
made to keep mum occupied when she could no longer walk. Having recently gone through end of life I wanted to express how impressed I am with the staff. They always had mum's best interests at heart, making sure that mum was as comfortable as possible and that she had company when we couldn't be there. The staff are all so passionate and genuinely caring. The end of life care is outstanding. I would recommend Willow Lodge Care Home to anyone whose loved one has dementia.

My mother was only at Willow Lodge for 9 months and, like with everyone who suffers from dementia, there were a few issues that came up, but these were always dealt with by the amazing management team and staff there.


Covid -19 presented so many additional problems for care homes but everyone at

Willow Lodge carried on providing such a happy and welcoming environment.


The home itself is beautifully decorated and well maintained, and everyone there highly praises the food provided.


My mum spent her last few days being loved and cared for by all at Willow Lodge, I cannot thank you enough for not only your care of Mum but the support for us during this sad time.


I would recommend you to anyone looking for somewhere for their loved ones to be cared for.

I was very apprehensive at letting my mum go into a care home, but after becoming her full-time carer and having a trip already booked I had no choice. I really needn't have worried, the care she got was amazing. Also, I was kept updated via email on how well she was doing. Also, a lovely touch sending
me photos of her. Thank you so much to all the staff, hopefully, there will be availability when we next go away.

Really lovely, comfortable, well-run care home. The facilities are excellent and since my aunt moved in in 2015, many further improvements have been made for the comfort of the residents. She is as content as it is possible for her to be, bearing in mind the extent of her dementia. She can be challenging
at times but is treated with dignity and kindness.

My mum's care has been excellent. I am kept informed regarding her health, medication and other important matters. The home is very clean, lovely homemade food, great activities, inclusive and supporting. Lovely garden which Mum loves to sit in. I know she is safe and I am able to visit when I want

Great accommodation, clean and bright. Caring staff who showed compassion and flexibility in supporting the family to be part of the care of our loved one within the limits of coronavirus restrictions on contact. The staff did all they could to help us engage with care and to make life in a residential

Since my mother in law became a resident here at Willow Lodge, I have been more than happy with the care and welfare that has been given to her these last 18 months. All the staff and management have been pleased to help with any queries that we, the family, have had but they have been few and far between.
Mother settled in very well, she has had good/bad days but the staff have met with all her needs in a friendly and professional manner. She is well fed and kept clean and tidy. Willow Lodge is well maintained, the décor and furnishings are all in very good order. When visiting, we the family, are also welcomed by the staff at all times.

She became a Registered Manager with the CQC and joined Willow Lodge in 2020. Since then, she has proudly led a dedicated team committed to delivering person-centred care in a warm and supportive environment. Aimee holds a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care, among various other qualifications.


Under her leadership, residents live well with dementia and enjoy a rich variety of entertainment and meaningful activities tailored to their needs and interests. Aimee always welcomes visitors and is happy to answer any questions and show people around the home.

Kelly joined Willow Lodge in 2024 as Deputy Manager following a 29-year career in the NHS, which began in 1995. Job Title: Activities Coordinator

With over 25 years of experience in the care sector, beginning in 1999, Venus has held a variety of roles, including Senior Carer, Mental Health Counsellor, and working with SEN children in a special education setting.


She now serves as the Activity Coordinator at Willow Lodge, where she focuses on delivering engaging and meaningful activities that support residents’ emotional and physical well-being. Venus enjoys music-based activities and local outings and is a big fan of Pink Floyd, concerts, and rugby in her spare time.
