My father was at Lobswood House for the last three years of his life, until his death on 20th October 2016. I found all the staff to be extremely caring, thoughtful and kind at all times. They are knowledgeable and understanding of the needs of people with dementia and treat them with respect and compassion. The home is light, bright and clean and very close to the local Health Centre meaning a doctor in readily available. The food was excellent, choices given and help if needed if required for feeding. Drinks are given out regularly during the day again with several choices. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a special place for their special person requiring care in dementia!!!
