We've had the pleasure of placing our loved one in this care home, and it's been a truly wonderful experience. The staff are friendly, caring, and attentive, ensuring our loved one feels comfortable and well looked after. The home is clean and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend this care home to anyone in need of exceptional care and support.

My dearest mother was a resident at Hollymead House for nearly 3 years. During her time there, her health and mobility worsened due to her ageing years. She was always treated with great care and respect during the whole 3 years, but in particular the last 14 months when she was confined to her bed. During this time, the dignity and compassion shown to my mother by all the staff was absolutely wonderful. As a family, we will always be so grateful for all those involved with caring for her.

All of the staff are extremely dedicated and the care they give is exceptional. They really care about the residents and go out of their way to ensure their happiness.

I would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for a supportive and caring place for their loved one.The home is comfortable, clean and calm. All of the staff are friendly and kind and were extremely welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Our loved one was treated with dignity and respect at all times until she passed away.

The rest home is a lovely place, the rooms are nice and the food good.

My darling Aunt went to live at Hollymead House in September 2024 after a long spell in hospital and sadly she was unable to return home. From the very first day she eceived the utmost excellent care and attention which was a very traumatic time The home is warm and cosy with the decor maintained no limits on visitors or times. All staff are helpful and approachable as is the management. Varied food choices and plentiful supply of fluids offered. A structured daily entertainment programme for those who wished to join in beautiful gardens with seating areas. I could enthuse further but in summary i was extremely lucky that my dearest Aunt was able to spend her final days in such sensitive caring environment. I would certainly recommend to and person needing care

My mum came to Hollymead House in 2019 after a long stay in hospital. Throughout her stay, the staff have always gone the extra mile to ensure she was happy. When mum arrived she couldn't walk any distance but the staff got her mobile and she continued to be so until a few days before her death at 100! My mum was a very sociable person and Hollymead allowed her to continue to be so. She enjoyed sitting in the lounge and chatting with the staff and other residents. When it was Mum's 100th birthday the staff ensured that the family celebration went smoothly offering facilities and support thus making it a very special occasion. At the end of Mum's life, the staff were truly amazing not only looking after Mum with such care and respect but also ensuring the whole family were looked after. Their attention to detail was second to none. I cannot thank them enough for making her last days so peaceful and filled with care. It seems so strange not to visit Hollymead as we have for the last five years.

The family were all worried when my 96-year-old mum needed extra care and could no longer live alone. We had to move her from Manchester to be closer to me. I spent weeks looking for a care home and as soon as I walked into Hollymead House, I was impressed by the clean, fresh appearance and friendly, helpful staff. Mum has settled really well and is very happy in her new home. The staff are warm, kind and caring and couldn't have been more welcoming. The food looks delicious and healthy and Mum has got her appetite back and has gained weight. Both the manager and owner are professional but always treat the residents with respect and dignity whilst maintaining a homely atmosphere. I cannot speak more highly of this wonderful care home.

Hollymead was beautifully furnished and decorated, clean, warm and welcoming. The food was varied, cooked perfectly and well presented. Overall very good value for money and peace of mind.

Everything he needed was taken care of and health concerns were dealt with immediately with family informed. There was also regular entertainment for all to enjoy. It was a place where family and friends were free to come and go and were always made to feel welcome. We could not have wished for a happier place for him to end his days.

My stepmother went into Hollymead House for 9 nights of respite. First time she has been in a care home. She cannot praise the manager and staff enough for all their care and kindness. The food was excellent along with cleanliness. The process and forms were all explained clearly to me and were easy to complete. Highly recommend Hollymead House and its staff.
