My cousin entered Oakland Court on 12th March 2024. She is in her early 90's. She has diabetes type one and has short term memory loss. Oakland Court have been excellent in caring for her in every way. Her dietery needs are catered for. She walks on her own, weather permitting, and on Mondays plays Bridge at her club. Her sugar levels are checked three times a day and every two hours during the night. From 18th December 2025 it became necessary for a district nurse to attend twice a day to administer injections and check levels.

The activities are wonderful and varied, and mum has benefited hugely from the stimulation. There's always music and craft and, crucially, laughter.
