Overall Experience
Very satisfied with staff and management. The felicity is very well staffed and clean (no odours). Meals very well presented, impressed by fresh fruits and vegetables and portion sizes.

Staff seemed very caring, compassionate and respectful to all residents. My brother and I reside in Canada and spent a month in Cuckfield soon after our aunt moved in, so she was just starting to feel comfortable in her new surroundings.

Barbra Mare
Barbra MareJob Title:Registered ManagerJoined: 2023

I have worked in health and social care for 30 years and 22 of those are in social care. I am a trained Nurse and have worked in various Hospitals and settings. I have been managing Care Homes for 16 years. I hold NVQ level 4 in leadership and Management for care services.

I am passionate about person-centred care and having good outcomes for our residents. I am always looking for ways in which people living with dementia can be supported to remain as independent as possible and to have purposeful days.

I believe being in care should not mean the end but the beginning of another chapter in life so I promote activities which create meaningful and purposeful days for our residents.
