Mum is 98-years and has been a resident for nearly two years. She has been well looked after for all of this period and above all is happy. All her needs are met, which takes all the pressure from the family.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care Mum receives.

The day my father arrived at The New Grange he was instantly uplifted. He is no longer fearful, enjoying the care and the company of the lovely staff who are patient, caring and always on the ball. He is now a healthy weight and I love the lunches when occasionally I join my father. The activities are fun and varied, he particularly likes the singalongs, quizzes and crafts.

Mum is very happy at The New Grange. She was admitted to the home in an emergency as Dad went into hospital. Another home she went into initially couldn't cope with Mum's behavior. The New Grange were excellent in a crisis! The management assessed her with short notice and were confident that The New Grange could manage. The New Grange has been excellent for Mum and she settled immediately. She has a good report with the caring staff. It really is a dementia specialist home.

My uncle has been extremely well looked after at New Grange. The staff are so kind, caring and friendly. Last week it was my uncle and aunts Diamond Anniversary and the home put on a wonderful 'get together' there. It was absolutely brilliant and emotional. They sorted everything from entertainment, food and a special card from the Queen. They made sure that my uncle was comfortable from beginning to end. A big 'thank you'.

Like most families, we were worried about having to put my father in law in a care home and how he would settle, but actually he has settled well. The home always makes sure to keep us informed of how he is and when he is poorly and we have complete faith they will keep him safe and comfortable. The staff understand that it is a difficult time for families and have been as kind and supportive as they can.

Today the home put on a special diamond wedding celebration on for my in-laws and they even went to the trouble of organising a card from the Queen, the Mayor to attend and an Elvis impersonator along with a lovely buffet. We were able to bring in champagne and invite all the people that would have come along if it had been a normal family celebration at home, and we were able to have use of a room just for us all, which made what could have been quite a sad day because of my father in law's dementia and frailty, into something special for them both and all the family that attended.

Such a lovely care home. Everyone is so kind, caring and friendly. Such a relief to see my mother receive kind, friendly and compassionate support. I feel so lucky to have come across this place. The perfect choice. I would recommend to anyone, even I feel part of the family. They really go to great lengths to make the residents and visitors feel at home. Thank you all of you.

Individual needs and wishes catered for in a cheerful environment with well thought out activities, excellent meals giving enough of a timescale for residents to eat at their time of choosing and pace of eating. As residents become unable to use the toilets themselves, this is detected quickly and there is no smell so often associated with other care homes. It will be much appreciated by visitors when the car park is extended.

Management and care cannot be faulted. Always kept informed on both health care and activities organised. Quarterly meetings with management for friends and family of residents. Although can always speak to all members of staff at any time without the need for an appointment. Excellent care given.

Compared to my mother's previous care home the New Grange is more like a hotel. All staff are courteous, caring and adaptable to the resident's needs. My relative has been living here for nearly 3 years and I am totally confident in the care she receives.

My mother became a resident of this care home in February of this year and was extremely anxious and disorientated at first.

However, with the care and support of staff (in often difficult circumstances) she has settled and now enjoys life at The New Grange. Thank you, everyone.

For the time I have spent visiting the home to see my Mother I have found it to be a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to make the residents happy and join in any activities or musical events that take place every week. They also have the services that certain residents require on a weekly or periodical basis i.e., chiropody and hairdressers and they carry out other treatments that perk up the ladies, namely manicure. I know my Mum enjoys this pampering. All in all, I feel it is a very professional and efficiently run home.

My mother has deteriorated significantly during the years she has been a resident and the staff have always supported the family to understand her condition and needs.
Mum receives the best care and is always kept clean, well dressed and comfortable.
Staff are always smiling and friendly and make time for a chat regardless of how busy they are.

Thank you.
