Victoria Lodge Dementia Care Home was originally opened in October 1989, and is comprised of two flats for elderly residents with dementia.

Victoria Lodge is approximately one mile from Worthing's town centre and 15 minutes walk from the town's seafront and only 20 minutes from Brighton.

All residents are treated as individuals and their independence, privacy and dignity is of utmost importance at all times.

Victoria Lodge thrives on laughter, fun and most of all the quality of care and happiness of the resident. Staff strive to respect all those who live and work there at all times.

At Victoria Lodge, staff believe in the therapeutic benefits of providing a pet-friendly environment.

Each resident will be allocated their own carer who will assist them in their needs, whether it bathing, dressing or even shopping.

Dad has been in Victoria Lodge for eight months and we have been very happy with the care and kindness shown by members of the staff. We cannot commend Victoria Lodge enough for their hard work and giving priority to the needs and well being of their clients.

My mum could not be in better care than Victoria Lodge.
We were desperate for her to stay here knowing she would be on safe, caring and loving hands.
I have rarely witnessed such human compassion than here, this is home from home.
As a relative I have had huge support and kindness from all of the
wonderful staff here, never made to feel like we are just a number and treated as one of the family which is how you feel when you are part of this lovely place.
Thank you is never enough for saving my mum.

I love Victoria Lodge and the staff. They are the most caring people I know. They keep the residents active most days. I believe this is why my mum is thriving almost 7 years into dementia and at 92.
It truly is one of the best care homes I’ve come across. I would highly recommend Victoria Lodge for
any person with dementia. I live in Canada and know I do not have to worry about my mum.

I have nothing but praise for Victoria Lodge. Since my Mother moved there in April/May 2018 she has been happy and content. On my visits to her, I have always been impressed with the care she has received, staff have always been attentive and compassionate. They create a warm, friendly atmosphere. They
always keep me informed of her health, and general well being.
I am confident that she receives the care her frail condition requires.

Victoria Lodge Care Homes overall standard is excellent.
All medical needs are taken care of and the home has a good relationship with all the required professionals.
Trust is a hard thing to gain when you hand over a family member to someone else to care for but I have trust in Victoria Lodge and
the excellent director and staff who make the home work so well.

The care my auntie received at Victoria Lodge was absolutely fantastic. We were impressed by every member of staff. We were always met with a friendly smile and a cup of tea. The high standard of care at Victoria Lodge meant that we could relax as a family knowing my auntie was in the best hands, always
warm, clean comfy and well fed with lovely fresh food. I would recommend Victoria Lodge to anyone and everyone.

Always a warm welcome and always caring to residents. Warm, cosy, friendly atmosphere and extremely good staff who are instantly in attendance if a resident needs assistance.
Just about the best care home I have ever seen or been to and we were kept regularly informed with regards to my aunt's situation.

I would thoroughly recommend this lovely care home, the care is exceptional, the home is very warm and welcoming. The staff are extremely kind and caring, nothing is too much trouble for them. They are very professional and passionate about the quality of care each resident receives and they are all
treated as individuals. There are daily activities arranged, hairdresser and a beautician visit the residents weekly.
My mother has been a resident for over a year now and I can honestly say I now have peace of mind. She is very well taken care of, always given choices regarding her care, what food she eats and there is always someone there to take time to talk and chat and even hold her hand if she's feeling confused.
Victoria Lodge really is an exceptional care home, I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this wonderful care home to family and friends.

My husband has been in Victoria Lodge for 6 months. I am impressed with the way his individual needs have been met, both with his medical treatment and wellbeing. Also visiting the dentist and optician and regular chiropody. They have a professional musician visiting weekly, which he enjoys.


The

Carers and staff are kind and understanding and it has a family atmosphere. Regular maintenance is taking place in the house and garden looked lovely in the summer with outside lighting and seating and they had a summer party with lovely food and music. A second TV was set up for him and another resident as they enjoyed watching sport and I thought that this was a very kind gesture. My husband is happy and contented and this is of great comfort to me.

My father has been at Victoria Lodge for a little over a year, he seems to enjoy himself and likes the social aspect with the residents and staff. My sister and I were hesitant about my father going into a Care Home but has turned out to be the best situation for all parties.
I would highly recommend
Victoria Lodge, it is a very clean Care Home, with very friendly staff and has access to a garden which was a must for my father.
I can rest assured that my father is receiving High-Quality Care and is much happier than he was whilst at home and myself and my siblings can visit whenever we like.

Mother is part of a family of loving carers and people treated with love and respect. I can't fault the home with anything. Each time my mum was away from Victoria Lodge Care Home, she wanted to go back, she called it her home. Nothing was too much for them to do for care, comfort and happiness of residents.
Would recommend this home to anyone. Standards are so high and communication between staff and family is faultless and definitely a true home from home, providing love and protection for residents and their families.

From day one over two and half years ago, we have found that the management and staff have been fully committed to the care of my mother. It has been wonderful to see how settled and relaxed she has become especially after a very traumatic experience she had in hospital. The staff nursed her back to
health which was wholly due to their care and understanding of her condition. A big thank you to all the staff.

We feel as a family our father is looked after very well. He especially enjoys the lovely meals and the care shown to him. Our father is extremely happy. All the staff are great and all the residents are very happy and have plenty of activities during the week.
The home keeps us well informed if they
have any concerns about our father and if he is ill they contact us straight away. We all trust the home completely with Dads welfare.
