My Mum spent 6 months at Paxton Hall and during this time we found the home very welcoming, friendly and comfortable. All staff have great understanding of what outstanding care should look like and tailor it to individual needs. They interact kindly with residents and they offer activities to involve them every day.
During the later stages of Mums life they managed her needs with outstanding care and involved family members by keeping us well informed especially supporting my 96 year old Dad with great consideration.

Paxton Hall made the final 6 months of Mum's life easier for us, and we observed the love and knowledge they have for all residents. Thank you.

I came to Paxton Hall from hospital and was in isolation for 2 weeks and was cared for excellently straight away. I have lived here for 5 years and know all the staff.

My wife was admitted to Little Paxton Hall in November for support and care. During these four months I can say that she has had extremely good and sympathetic, gentle support in a peaceful, structured manner. The staff, both caring and administrative, have been pleasant, helpful and efficient. I have been kept informed if they had needed to change or modify her regime of care. The ambience and cleanliness of the house is extrmely good and the staff are gentle but efficient when support is needed. I am glad that we chose Paxton Hall for my wife's nursing needs.

My mother has been a resident at Paxton Hall for 4 years now and I couldn't imagine anywhere more suitable for her. She loves the staff and they love her right back, she's treated with dignity and respect, she's comfortable and has beautiful surroundings to walk around in when she wants to. I couldn't ask for more for her as she gets older.

My Aunt was welcomed with open arms and lots of cuddles. She has been looked after so well. There could be a few more care assistants at times but they all work hard to make all of the residents happy and make Paxton Hall feel as much like home as they can.

I cannot thank the home enough for the care they gave my father. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much for them from food to even sitting with him for a while and watching tv. Nothing was neglected in his physical care and they soon adapted to the little quirks that someone with dementia has.

Once again I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My mother has dementia. She did not understand that she was needing 24-hour care and residential care was not her choice. In my and my siblings' view, she is receiving outstanding care at Paxton Hall. She has settled well, she is cheerful and engages well with all the staff. She enjoys the activities and benefits from them. We did not think this positive outcome was possible. We are very pleased and satisfied.

Wonderful caring , thoughtful and sympathetic carers.
Dad has been in the care home since April. As a family we entertain him as much as we can. There are books and jigsaws colouring etc that we use. It would be nice to have people come in to play music and or sing for them regularly and or maybe have open days as in some other homes I visit

I'm away that all takes time and effort and the carers work so hard as it is.

Mum was at Paxton Hall from August 2022 until her recent death. She had severe dementia, and it was a huge decision especially for dad as they were married 73years. We had to admit we could no longer give her the care she needed. The whole Paxton Hall team show kindness and professionalism in the tailored care they provide to each resident. We could see from day to day how they adapt to the needs of individuals and learn their preferences. We felt at ease knowing despite the awful disease from which there is no going back mum was safe and as at peace as was possible. At the end we felt supported and guided through to a peaceful end for mum.

When Mum went into Paxton Hall just before lockdown she was a very frail woman. The care and support she received there helped her thrive for the next nearly 5 years. The home is clean and comfortable and the food excellent but it is the tireless care and kindness of all the staff, I believe, that made her last few years so happy and peaceful. I can't thank them enough.

My mother moved to Paxton Hall Care Home in February 2020 just days before the first COVID lockdown. She had spent most of the previous 6 months in and out of hospital and was not a well woman. We liked the comfort and beautiful surroundings that Paxton Hall offered and the staff appeared to be friendly, caring and capable during our selection visit. Quite honestly, we could never have imagined just how much Mum would thrive at Paxton Hall and how much love and care the wonderful staff would show towards her.

Over the next almost 5 years, Mum positively thrived under their love and care. She was always smiling and laughing and achieved levels of wellness that I could never have imagined she would see again in her lifetime. All of the staff including the management, administration team, carers, kitchen staff, scullery staff and the gardener have been quite wonderful and helped to make Mum's time at Paxton Hall better than we could have ever imagined.

When my mother could no longer look after herself she needed a 'home from home' not an institution. That we found at Paxton Hall, where over the six and a half years my mother lived there the staff adapted to her changing needs and looked after her with great care until her recent death. We were able to take her out as much as possible and to visit at any time, always being warmly welcomed. I cannot stress enough how grateful we are to the people who cared for my mother with such affection and good humour. When she was able to my mother enjoyed the beautiful gardens and took part in the many activities on offer. I would have no hesitation in recommending Paxton Hall Care Home.

I am so pleased that I chose Paxton Hall care home for my Mother. The staff really care for the residents and do everything to make sure that all their needs are taken care of at all times. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the food is varied and enjoyed by all of them. The activities from a local primary school to a farm visit in the spring are enjoyed greatly. I am kept regularly up to date with how my Mum is doing and enjoy visiting her. I would thoroughly recommend Paxton Care Home with its homely and friendly feel.

Although my mum was only a resident for a very short while, we could not fault the care and compassion shown to her during that time. The staff really care about the residents, and there is a lovely family feel to the home. Until she became ill, Mum was clearly thriving from the care and stimulation she received. I would highly recommend Paxton Hall if you are looking for a home for a loved one.

My mother stayed at Paxton Hall for 3 months up until her recent death.
I thought it was an excellent home and my mother had only good things to say about the carers and how kind they were. She enjoyed the food and there were interesting things going on such as a visit from baby goats, lambs etc. who were put on the front lawn (inside a fence) for the residents to stroke etc. and also a visit from some snakes and other reptiles!
The communication was excellent and I was kept well informed, I liked that I could visit at any time.
They were also very helpful and on occasion when my mum had visitors they brought us out tea and biscuits and it was nice to sit in the courtyard in the summer. The gardens were beautifully kept. On another occasion, a few of us had a takeaway outside in the courtyard and they were very accommodating of this.

I would absolutely recommend Paxton Hall and it was a relief for me that my mother was being cared for by good people.

The manager and staff are caring friendly helpful and very compassionate at all times. Nothing is too much trouble. Paxton Hall has beautiful gardens and the rooms are always clean and welcoming. My mother always looked forward to bingo and celebrating different events during the year. At the end of my mother's final years, she was treated with dignity and respect.

I want to say thank you to the wonderful staff at Paxton Hall Care Home for taking great care of my Mother. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
It has taken a few months for Mum to settle into her new home which is well equipped for her particular needs.
Mum going into a care home has been a massive change for all of us. It is great peace of mind for all the family to know Mum is being well cared for 24/7 and is comfortable and safe.
The staff have been attentive, reassuring and encouraging all the way.

Paxton Hall is truly a special Home for when extra care and attention is required for your loved one.
