My mother has spent a week at Cranmer House. The staff have been wonderful to her kind and caring. The food has been good and a lot of effort has been made. I find something she feels like eating. She is not well but has felt safe while she was here.

Overall Experience
This facility provided a welcome, helpful and caring stay for me when recovering from an operation. The staff were very friendly and patient and treated me with dignity and respect. I felt as though I had come to a five star hotel! Thank you to all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

Cranmer House is a Gem! All the staff are well trained as well as very caring. Nothing proved too much trouble 24/7. My Father is very ill and has received the best care available during his 5 weeks stay. Thank you all so much.

I visited and came to see my brother who has been in this care home before and I always find the overall care home excellent. Friendly staff who are always happy to help in any way possible, Cranmere House is a credit to the local authority and its patients.

I arrived here by ambulance from the hospital late evening 1 week ago, tired and very confused I was shown to my lovely, clean and airy room. They helped me get to bed having explained about my controlled drugs. Slept most of the next day. Then did more walking and went to the dining room etc the...
I arrived here by ambulance from the hospital late evening 1 week ago, tired and very confused I was shown to my lovely, clean and airy room. They helped me get to bed having explained about my controlled drugs. Slept most of the next day. Then did more walking and went to the dining room etc the next day. I cannot praise all the people who work here enough. At all times they were polite, helpful and supportive. After 1 week I have recovered enough to go home and slowly pick up my life again.

I have worked in the care sector for many years, initially completing my nurse training at the West Suffolk Hospital. I have worked both within hospital and care home settings, each bringing their own experiences. My passion purely and simply is people, particularly giving support to those needing it most and when experiencing real difficulty in their lives.
I have worked at Cranmer House for over 20 years and feel very proud of the whole team’s achievements and our reputation within the local community. I very much enjoy being part of an innovative and forward thinking company, whose values we all aspire to.
