My mum once settled in, enjoyed all her meals and the company of all the staff that cared for her. Her room was light and clean. End of life care given by the home excellent.
Only one down thing out of hours GP at the weekend was a no-show letting down my mum and your staff.

Yesterday Saturday 21st April, the care home put on an open day with lots of different activities throughout the day, family and friends were invited to come along and join in with the fun that was arranged.
I arrived at 3pm for the afternoon tea along with my sister, mum and step-dad. We had great
fun trying to guess where different types of food and drink came from (must admit some funny answers were supplied). The winners each got a medal which was a lovely gesture,
Then a buffet tea was brought out for everyone with lovely sandwiches, vol-au-vents and cakes and scones all the staff are very welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.
The activities co-ordinator put a lot of work into organising the day and she had great support from other staff who also enjoyed the day, would like to say a very big thank you for such a wonderful day we all had.

The encouraging care my friend received was excellent. They were always polite and helpful and the home was very clean. My only concern was how early the evening meal was served (4.15pm). My friend said she always felt hungry at night because she couldn't eat enough at that early time.

I was very impressed but the care and welcome from all the staff from the moment I arrived and throughout my visit. The staff smiled, listened and showed a real care of my friend's needs. The home creates a "homely" atmosphere and is spotlessly clean. My friend enjoys the activities and is very impressed
with the quality and presentation of the meals.

Thank you for looking after her so well. She arrived in a very distressed and traumatised state and she is now smiling and very positive about returning home.

Over a 3 month respite period, my father was very complimentary about all aspects of the care home accommodation, facilities, staff and services he encountered. I, my wife, and my brother all echo his sentiment. Sometimes my father's care needs were somewhat challenging, demanding high levels of caring
professionalism. No matter how intimate or sensitive the issue or task, the staff at all levels and disciplines coped famously, they kept us well informed of all actions taken, and involved us in all decisions where our input was necessary. As with any complex service, there were a few minor blemishes but nothing that could be construed as defective. The management and team leading supervision have generated a very warm, friendly family atmosphere for residents, carers and visitors alike.

Staff very supportive, especially as dad was getting on in years (93). His memory wasn't good and they treated dad with love and care, nothing was too much trouble for them. The carers have time for the residents, food very nice and when family come over to visit are offered a hot drink and biscuit.
All carers deserve a medal and especially Rebecca Court for looking after dad for 5 years and they took over and made my life easier. Well done everyone. Dad has since passed away. I'll miss seeing the staff.

Rebecca Court was a blessing for my mother. She was there from June 2 - July 5 when she passed away peacefully. The facility is great but the staff are AMAZING. They are professional, wonderful, awesome, compassionate, personable, friendly people - they became like family to me (and my brother). They
not only took care of our mom but also of us, as we stayed with her from June 26 until she passed. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We wanted for nothing. Our mother's room was clean and very spacious with big windows that overlooked the garden. I have praised Rebecca Court to everyone. I wish there was a Rebecca Court where I live in NYC!

I would like to commend Rebecca Court. As a residential care home, I can honestly say they are second to none. My sister is living at the home and the loving care she is receiving is wonderful. The kindness, love, well-being, and compassion she receives daily is a joy to see.
This loving care is given
to all the residents who are all treated with love, dignity, and tenderness. My sister loves her carers and all the staff, all her needs are met daily. We are so glad and grateful that along with my sister this love and care is given to us as well, we are all made to feel so welcome.I can't thank the management enough for their leadership in the way this wonderful is being run.

The staff at Rebecca Court are warm, caring and friendly.
As my mother's health became worse, staff put in place extra support.
During her last few days, she was treated with respect and everything was done to make her as comfortable as possible.
Throughout I was kept informed and consulted.
I would
have no hesitation in recommending Rebecca Court to others.

My mother went to live at Rebecca Court in June 2015 and from the day she arrived, we were all made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Mam was not always the easiest of ladies, but the kindness and care she was given by all the staff was excellent. When mam passed away, the staff were
so caring and helpful. They made a difficult time much easier. A gold star for Rebecca Court for excellence.

A lovely welcome, a cup of tea and a chat.
Very helpful and caring staff, all residents are looked after with respect and to retain their dignity. Assistance always available when required.
Always plenty of food and fluids (even in bedrooms)
Clean and tidy home, even though decorating has been
done downstairs, which didn't affect the residents.
Family are always made very welcome. A lovely homely feeling.

Current Review Score: 9.2 (9.229)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.2 (9.229) out of 10 for Rebecca Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 8 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.5 out of 5 from 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.708 for Rebecca Court is calculated as follows: ( (74 Excellents x 5) + (5 Goods x 4) + (9 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 89 Ratings = 4.708
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.521 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Rebecca Court is based on 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 = 3.6
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 38 registered maximum number of service users is 7.6. 7 Positive Reviews ÷ 7.6 = 0.921
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
