My Dad has dementia and is cared for by the excellent staff & management. They have activities almost every day both on site and off site. My Mum and I visit as often as we can and always observe care and compassion from all the staff.
We are very happy for dad to be a resident and know he is well looked after.
We would not hesitate recommending this excellent care home to anyone with a a relative who is seeking a great place for their loved one to be cared for.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this review, it means a great deal to us all. It is a pleasure to care for your dad and I will ensure that this review is cascaded to the team.
My dearest neighbour was in Redlands care home from April 2025 until the end of February 2026. Throughout this time he was treated with wonderful care dignity and respect. At times his care was challenging for the staff and regular discussions with management helped deal with this. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff for spending time with him, listening to his stories, looking through his photos and accommodating his wishes by always taking a sweet or chocolate. The difficult times in his final days highlighted what a wonderful care home, management and staffing team they are. The compassion and love they showed was amazing to him, me and his family. Special thanks to Rachel and John who washed him after he passed away and to John who made sure he left the home as the dapper chap he always was, suited, booted, clean shaven and holding his favourite chocolate bar. Thank you from the bottom of my heart
It was a real pleasure to have been able to care for him, he was very dear to us all a real gentlemen. I will ensure that this lovely feedback will be shared with the team.
My mum went into Redlands after losing her mobility following a series of falls. She was treated with such care and kindness by the wonderful staff and management. The home was always clean, bright and cheerful and I was always made to feel welcome when I visited. Thank you all for caring for her so well.
It has been a pleasure to have been able to care for your mum, she very quickly became a big part of Redlands. I know our staff will be so pleased to hear how happy you were with her care and we will pass this to them all.
Very pleased how dad was looked after right to the end. Thank you, Les.

My dad has been in the home four years. In that time I have always been pleased with the home in fact it has just been improving over time. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The management are amazing always there to answer any questions and support me if things get tough. I am always kept up to date on everything to do with my dads health i.e falls etc.
Thank you for your very kind words, it is a pleasure to care for dad and he brings so much joy to the home. We will certainly pass your feedback on to all of the staff who, we know will very much appreciate knowing that their hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed.
Wonderful care and compassion for both my grandparents.
Thank you for your kind words, I will pass this over to the team. It was a real pleasure to be looking after your Grandparents.
Following a series of falls, my Mum moved to Redlands House for two weeks respite care, in the hope we might be able to break the cycle she had found herself in. Mum was really well cared for, with staff found to be friendly, approachable and really helpful, facilities clean and very well presented and the room spacious and well maintained. Mum made the decision to try independent living at the end of the respite care - and I'm happy to say that no further falls have happened in the two weeks since she has left. I put this down to the excellent care and treatment my Mum received at Redlands House which has allowed her to get her strength back. I really do recommend Redlands House and thank them for helping my Mum.
I would like to thank you for this lovely review, it was a pleasure to have looked after your mum. I will ensure that this is cascaded to the team.
Dad came to respite care. The care Redlands has given and provided has been exceptional. This has changed our view of residential care to a very positive experience. Dad has improved no end whilst being in your care. Dad has mixed dementia.
It was a real pleasure and privilege to have cared for your dad. Thank you for your lovely feedback, this will be shared with the team.
After several falls and a stay in hospital my mother was not strong enough to return to her home. We decided a 2 week stay at Redlands House was perfect. The manager and assistant manager were extremely helpful and the warmth of their personality is what made mums stay easier for us all to bear. Very clean rooms, well decorated, fantastic staff, respectful attitude to difficult circumstances. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, it was a pleasure to have had your mum stay at Redlands on respite care. Feedback is really important to us and I will make sure that the team is made aware of this lovely review.
I was immediately phoned on my wife's transfer from hospital and made welcome on my first visit when I was reassorted about the care she would be given. That reassurance proved correct. All the staff seemed very kind and attentive to her needs and they got her to eat (which she failed to do in hospital). I have the comfort of feeling that she is in good hands.
Thank you for your feedback, it is a real pleasure to be caring for your wife. I will ensure that the staff are made aware of these lovely comments.
Such a lovely care home. Friendly staff who genuinely care about my Nan. It's always clean and smells lovely and I'm really happy my Nan found Redlands. The activities are engaging for her and the communication with relatives is excellent. You can visit whenever is convenient for you and always feel welcomed.

I visit my Grandad alongside other family members. He seems to have settled well and enjoys having a laugh, particularly with staff members. Very homely atmosphere and appears to have settled well very quickly!
Thank you so much for your kind review, I will ensure that the care staff here are made aware, we all so enjoy caring for your grandad.
Clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and it's a happy home.
My grandad was admitted to Relands House on a temporary basis for assessment for a six-week period. When he was admitted he had very limited mobility, was very anxious and had lost his ability to recall his long-term memory. When we visited after two weeks, he was walking with his walking frame with confidence, chatting with confidence and told us all about his routine at Redlands and the activities he'd been doing. Thank you to all at Redlands House for this amazing change in him.
Thank you for your feedback it has been a pleasure to look after your Grandad and we are so happy that you were pleased with the care received. The team will be informed of the feedback given. Thank you for giving your time to complete this.
The manager's door is always open and I feel very welcome there.
My husband loves the food and seems to be settled which is a great relief to me as I struggled to cope with his Alzheimers at home.
It is a real pleasure to have your husband in our care, we really appreciate that you have taken the time to complete this and the feedback will be relayed to the team.
Mum has been very well looked after. The staff are very patient and caring under some challenging circumstances. There are many activities that she can participate in and since being here she is more settled. She is always dressed and out of her room. I would highly recommend Redlands.
Thank you so much for your kind words, this will mean a great deal to the staff and I will feed this back to them. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback of our service.
My friend is always comfortable. Always clean and cared for with feeling. The room always smells fresh, bed linen is very clean and regularly changed. Their personal care, hair brushing, fingernails and toenails are kept neat and sometimes painted. The staff are all very pleasant and approachable.
Thank you so much for your feedback, this will be passed on to the team. We really appreciate you taking time to complete the review and it is a real pleasure to be looking after your friend.
