Mother in Law is treated very well and all staff know her by name and interact with her. Food and drink are good and plentiful and tailored to meet mother in law's preferences. The management of the home are very good and the team are always on hand to assist/reassure. I would recommend The Dell to others but it needs to be accessible for them.

Everyone has been so very kind to Mum, especially when times have been challenging. Thank you. The staff have also been very supportive to me whilst I am adjusting to Mum being here.

The Dell is a very friendly home. The staff work very hard and I am satisfied that my mother is well looked after. The food is very good and the catering staff try very hard to suit individual needs.

My friend has had to go into care and we are so pleased with the care she has received so far at The Dell. We are always informed if there is anything medical eg. seeing a doctor. The room is light, airy and comfortable. She was able to have her own personal things put up as well. The food is all freshly cooked and she is really enjoying it. The staff are jolly and very helpful.

My out look has changed on residential homes. The Dell is so lovely and warming with kind staff who are always willing to help, even when they are so busy. We are offered food and drink on every visit. The Dell is clean, bright, warm and has a lovely feel to it. Someone is doing some lovely artwork on the wall. we are very impressed. Should I ever need to place my mum or dad in a home, I would look at the Dell. I have marked/scored two sections as good, I have not been into activities although the wall art looks great. Value for money I don't really know what is charged but I would be happy to pay.

Dad has only been in the home for three weeks, he has appeared to have settled well. The staff seems very kind and caring and have appeared to go out of their way to make him settled.

Since having new management and a change of some staff it is evident how much improved The Dell seems. The home has had some re-decoration which is very nice and makes a nicer feel to the home. I am now regularly given updates about my relative.

Meet Joy Henshaw – Regional Director at Wellbeing Care

I have had the privilege of working with Wellbeing Care for over 12 years, and I am proud to serve as Regional Director, supporting our services across Suffolk and Northamptonshire.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping people live the lives they choose, with dignity, independence, and the highest quality of care. I oversee a variety of services, including dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, residential and nursing care, learning disabilities, younger adults’ services, and supported/shared living.

I am a qualified trainer, Dementia Interpreter, and hold my Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care, along with the Registered Managers Award. While qualifications are important, what truly drives me is making a positive difference in the lives of the people we support every day.

I believe that great care is about so much more than meeting needs. It is about creating a home, building relationships, encouraging independence, celebrating achievements, and ensuring every resident and tenant feels valued, respected, and loved.

I am incredibly proud of the dedicated teams I work alongside. Together, we strive to create warm, supportive communities where people can thrive, feel safe, and enjoy meaningful and fulfilling lives.

For me, there is no greater reward than knowing that the care we provide helps people smile, maintain their independence, and live life to the fullest.
