My friend is well looked after and always kept nice and clean. The food is lovely and the staff are always coming round to see if she needs a drink. The home is kept clean and tidy. Woodbridge Lodge is a lovely place.

Very friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble. There is a social atmosphere among the residents and there is no pressure on them. As a visitor, I am always made welcome. Woodbridge Lodge provided my mother with a lovely 100th birthday party.

Everyone has been very helpful since my arrival and I cannot think of a better place to be staying. The care is very good if you have had a major operation before coming here.

The staff are always welcoming and helpful, the food is very good and the premises are very clean. Mum is very happy and well looked after. The only thing which I know nothing can be done about is the lack of the amount of available parking.

Warm welcome and friendly staff. Light, spacious conservatory looking out onto a huge, beautifully planned garden with outdoor seating. The flower arranging activity in the conservatory was very much enjoyed by the residents and us. We are always offered refreshments when we visit. The residents are treated with respect, great care and patience.

The staff are very friendly and on hand to answer any questions about dad and his care.
Quality of food seems very good and dad always says how much he enjoys his meals.

Management always very approachable but admin and contact, especially regarding activities, could be improved.

I cannot speak highly enough for the care that my husband receives. The staff and carers really do understand the meaning of tender loving care. The food is always beautifully cooked and presented and every effort is made by carers to help and encourage residents who are sometimes reluctant to eat. The cleanliness is excellent.

Following a visit to my stepfather, he was extremely happy after participating in the Woodbridge combined care home choir concert on 26th June funded by comic relief. He found it lovely and especially listening to the children. He very much enjous the singing and participating in the choir and getting out to other venues.

My wife has been at Woodbridge Lodge for the past four months with mild dementia. I have had health problems that made care for her imperative. I was in hospital when my children arranged for her admission. When I was able to visit, I was very impressed with the care she was receiving - the staff were unfailingly kind and caring. She has continued to be happy and healthy - it is a well run and impressive establishment.

Woodbridge Lodge is a lovely home. The house is large and substantial with beautiful mature gardens which are well looked after, giving a warm country atmosphere.

The staff are exceptional. They know the residents and relatives well and always have the time to help, as and when required.

Recently there has been Dementia training for the staff, which I believe has helped my mother become more settled and accepting of her situation.

The food is home cooked and very appetising. Drinks are always available and the homemade cakes are excellent!

This is a very warm and caring home with a very homely atmosphere. The staff are very much part of the family and treat the residents with kindness. The home is well run and the staff are very well trained and seem to have a great deal of understanding of the residents physical and mental well being. The food is well cooked with plenty of variety. The residents are encouraged to join in and make cakes for afternoon tea. There are a variety of activities which they can join in if they wish. Entertainment is put on at regular intervals and members of the public are invited to join in. Overall a lovely place for my Mum to be.

My father moved into Woodbridge Lodge just over 3 months ago and in that short time, he has changed from a lonely disgruntled old man to a content, happy gentleman. He is a pleasure to visit and all the staff welcome members of the family at all times of the day. Dad has rekindled his love of music by playing piano for everyone and recently celebrated his 94th birthday with all his new friends there. He's fitter, healthier and happier - so I'm happier too!

I have been in the administration role for about 18 years.

Before working for Kingsley I was an administrator for a local company and I was teaching swimming which I still do.

I love working at Woodbridge Lodge as the staff are all friendly and I enjoy being able to interact with the residents and their families. When I'm not at work I like being outside and keeping fit.

Rachel Dye
Rachel DyeJob Title:Activities & Lifestyle Co-ordinator

Before coming to Kingsley in 2022, I was at another care home in Woodbridge as a social engagement leader. This was a similar position but in a much larger home; what I love about Woodbridge Lodge is that it is a smaller home with a family-oriented feel about it. We are fortunate to have a great, supportive staff team here and lovely residents and families.

Outside work, I run my own cake business from home and regularly participate in charitable evenings. I am married with two children aged 19 and 20, both at university.

Samantha Harvey
Samantha HarveyJob Title:Activities & Lifestyle Co-ordinator

I started my career in the care industry and soon realised that this was my passion, moving from care assistant roles to lifestyle coordinator. Woodbridge Lodge is a beautiful home and I love my role as lifestyle coordinator, supporting our residents and making every day bright, different and interesting for them. I am very passionate about my job and what I do.

Outside work, I enjoy taking part in charity running events with my husband and two children and also enjoy exploring the countryside.
