Stradbroke Court

Mum is gradually settling in after a bumpy start. Gets on well with carers & residents alike. Care staff are friendly & kind to mum. The family appreciate their help & support. Room is clean & food looks tasty

My brother has been a resident for a while and is getting very good care and is happy to be there.

I was most impressed today when I visited my friend Janice for the 2nd time. (We are both 84) & I always dreaded going into a home after visiting at least 4 other homes in Lowestoft. Everyone of the staff was friendly & smiling & so kind. Had a fire alarm whilst there - no problem. Very well done all of you! Janice was happy, clean & no smell at all. Thankyou

All staff very caring made him feel home from home. Very clean and very friendly.

Excellent staff very caring. Home very clean admin excellent. Every problem solved straight away.

Better than I thought it would be, the caring side is good, staff try their best with the resources they have. Although they can clearly use more resources and additional hands on deck, their commitment to the residents never wavers. They go above and beyond with what they have available.

P.S. Can the kitchen team come and cook for us, please?!!

Moving our dad from one care home to Stradbroke Court has been a blessing. Management and all staff- from the lovely carers to the housekeeping team, everyone has been so helpful, kind, understanding and forward thinking. Carers wanted to get to know dad, his experiences and his life to understand his dementia and ailments, in order to help him. What a difference to the previous care home! Dad settled in very quickly and said "Everyone is very nice and the staff speak to me!" He's made friends, can walk all around the home and even sat in the day room- a big step for him. Nothing is too much trouble. Experienced staff and obvious training skills made it stress free for dad- and also for the family. Thank you.

We have found the careers at the home to be helpful and very friendly when with both my father and myself. There is a very good choice of menu with both the main meals and snacks throughout the day. There in always something to entertain/occupy the residence

I trust the staff who are very patient especially when I phone about my brother's phone!!

Activities are brilliant and since moving here mum has become a social butterfly attending gardening club arts and crafts , baking etc . Rachel the coordinator is brilliant .

I am very satisfied with the care and the friendly atmosphere from all the staff.I am always made welcome if there is any problems they soon get in touch.The residents always enjoy the entertainment it is lovely to get them all together.The food is very good and a good choice,well done to the chef.I do have my dinner there sometimes with my husband they always lay a table for us together which is lovely.Thankyou for all your hard work.

Despite the cold weather the staff at Stradbroke Court have continued to provide excellent care for John by attending to his health and care needs. We have been regularly informed of the Christmas and New Year activties and were welcomed to attend if possible, whilst reminding us of staying away if we have any of our own health issues. The dining room facilities and meals provided take account of the different needs of the residents. John has enjoyed the musical entertainment. There has been hairdressing and optician inspections recently. Thank you.

All staff are pleasant ad polite ad are very helpful ad supporting. Family and friends can join their ones for lunch and made very welcome .

The home is very clean and provides good food and regular snacks. On the whole, the staff are friendly and care well for mum. We have had a few problems, but management always takes time to listen and solve issues. The activities lady is fantastic and provides entertainment and enrichment for the residents.

The food always looks amazing and residents are well looked after.

I think overall very good with a shortage of staff. Rooms are excellent and clean. One problem is that dinner is never on time. Second part - too long wait - finished meal 1.45 too long. No problem with the chef - helpful.

My friend might only be there temporarily for respite but everyone has made her very welcome, have accommodated her needs and treated her with total kindness and respect.

As a resident for a time at Stradbroke Court, Lowestoft Suffolk, I would recommend for their kindness to everyone, always ready to help you for all your needs, nothing is too much trouble for them. The food was always at hand, and it was always delicious. The rooms were always clean, it is spotless. All the staff are very friendly it feels like one big family, lots of entertainment. The surroundings of the property are delightful, it is a lovely place to stay.
