Overall Experience

The home is very clean and provides good food and regular snacks. On the whole, the staff are friendly and care well for mum. We have had a few problems, but management always takes time to listen and solve issues. The activities lady is fantastic and provides entertainment and enrichment for the residents.

Overall Experience

I am the wife of one of the residents.I am more than happy with the care and the friendly staff who are always willing to help if needed.I always get a warm welcome when I go to see my husband.The place is always lovely and clean and the house keeping staff do a wonderful job. If there is any problem

it is soon sorted.The entertainment is lovely they have singers coming in and the residents love to join in.They have mornings where they have arts and crafts which is very enjoyable if you are there they love you too join in.
The food is brilliant always a good choice

Overall Experience

The Managers and Carers at Stradbroke Court pay particular attention to John's changing condition and needs. They always keep me informed by phone or email about activities and any changes in his health and safety needs. There are regular residents and family meetings and we are always welcomed and

assisted on our weekly visits to the home. John has to have a special diet to cope with his Parkinson's disease; but he enjoys the food which is always well presented. He is non verble , but enjoys the musical entertainment and he appreciates the time spent by his key workers to lift him in and out of his new wheel chair. The Care home has ongoing refurbishment plans. The main units have all been decorated and are clean and bright . Thank you.

Overall Experience

My dad has been in the home for a few weeks now. Initially, there was a few concerns he had, management got on top of this straight away and things were put in place to help my dad settle more.
The home has lots of different events on which is lovely to be a part of.
The food always looks amazing

and residents are well looked after.

Overall Experience

Burlingham House care home is an absolutely wonderful care facility.
My dad had a bad fall and was discharged from hospital to Burlingham House as he was at risk of further falls.
I cannot praise Angie, Layla, All the care staff and ancillary staff enough - they were all fantastic,
Dad was warmly

welcomed from the moment he arrived and he was shown the utmost love and care from everyone who came into contact with him.
Devastatingly, dad suddenly passed way after a couple of weeks and the respect, dignity and kindness that was demostrated to dad and our family was outstanding in the very sad circumstances. Angie the Manager even came in to support us even though she was away on leave - she cut her holiday short to be there for us.
The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are spacious.
They made a very sad experience so much more bearable for us and I will be forever grateful

Overall Experience

Cannot find fault with the staff, they are very polite and helpful and happy. Happy staff make happy customers. Only one problem long time waiting for the alarm system to be repaired, as I feel unsure at night, as not working correctly.

Mum has been in Burlingham house for 5 months now and seems settled and happy.The staff are amazing, kind, compassionate, caring, funny and above all look after my Mum with respect. I feel the pressure taken off me and can now enjoy quality time with mum.They keep me informed of any/all changes in

mum's well-being. The choice of meals is great, and plenty of variety. They have plenty of activities to do , should they choose to participate. I feel happy that my mum is being well cared for with good people and a beautiful home to live in.

Overall Experience

I think overall very good with a shortage of staff. Rooms are excellent and clean. One problem is that dinner is never on time. Second part - too long wait - finished meal 1.45 too long. No problem with the chef - helpful.

My dad has just returned from two weeks respite care and I cannot fault anything. The staff have all been absolutely amazing, so kind and caring and professional. Also, so accurate with a large amount of regular medication. Great food too, I'm told!

Overall Experience

The care that my Mother received at Burlingham House. was excellent. I couldn't fault anything. The amazing staff are friendly, caring, nothing was too much trouble. The staff always welcomed you in with a smile. My goodness the food looked and smelted delicious. My Mother and other resident were always

clean and well presented.The Manager and Staff made my Mother feel welcome she soon became a part of their family.
I came to visit Mum weekly and I always felt happy when I left, knowing that she was happy.
Unfortunately mum's stay was only for 6+ weeks as she sadly passed away peacefully in her sleep.
The support, empathy provided at mum passing was amazing. If you are thinking of putting your loved one into a care home then I would recommend you put them into Burlingham House as this home deserves to rated as a 10

Overall Experience

Very impressed with everything (cannot comment on value for money as I don't have the information). All the staff I have met whilst visiting my friend are all extremly helpful, pleasant, kind and efficient, both admin staff and care staff.
My friend might only be there temporarily for respite but everyone

has made her very welcome, have accommodated her needs and treated her with total kindness and respect.

Overall Experience

As a resident for a time at Stradbroke Court, Lowestoft Suffolk, I would recommend for their kindness to everyone, always ready to help you for all your needs, nothing is too much trouble for them. The food was always at hand, and it was always delicious. The rooms were always clean, it is spotless.

All the staff are very friendly it feels like one big family, lots of entertainment. The surroundings of the property are delightful, it is a lovely place to stay.

Overall Experience

Following the closure of another care home, my Mum moved into Stradbroke Court, she was welcomed with open arms which made the move so much easier than I expected. The staff are all lovely and helpful and the food is a huge improvement from the previous place. We can go at any time which with me working

is a great help, and we can also take our dog in which the residents seem to enjoy. Thank you to everyone involved.
