The whole of the Stradbroke Court Management team are always professional and dedicated, but still make time for personal interactions with both Mum and us when we visit. We know we can rely on them if we have any questions or requests that relate to Mum's specific needs. They always give us time and
attention if we have any concerns regarding Mum's care.
The care staff are outstanding and their level of caring and understanding should be applauded.
Rachel, the activities coordinator, has been doing a marvellous job and understands the need to encourage Mum or to spend one to one time with her, which is greatly appreciated by us.
The housekeeping team do a splendid job, the home is always clean and the laundry always done.
Overall, it's a great care home for my Mum.
P.S. Can the kitchen team come and cook for us, please?!!
Reply from Davina Button, Home Manager at Stradbroke CourtThankyou for your lovely feedback, the staff were thrilled to see it. I always say it, but the staff do try to make every day special for everyone and will go above and beyond to make each and every resident happy, whilst keeping the service clean, warm and welcoming. We are willing to keep communication open and transparent, to keep yourselves and all families up to date and involved in care planning for your loved ones. The menus and activity program are very inclusive and tailored around our residents, our kitchen staff and our activity lead truly do a wonderful job!

Moving our dad from one care home to Stradbroke Court has been a blessing. Management and all staff- from the lovely carers to the housekeeping team, everyone has been so helpful, kind, understanding and forward thinking. Carers wanted to get to know dad, his experiences and his life to understand his
dementia and ailments, in order to help him. What a difference to the previous care home! Dad settled in very quickly and said "Everyone is very nice and the staff speak to me!" He's made friends, can walk all around the home and even sat in the day room- a big step for him. Nothing is too much trouble. Experienced staff and obvious training skills made it stress free for dad- and also for the family. Thank you.
Reply from Davina Button, Home Manager at Stradbroke CourtThankyou for your lovely feedback. We are pleased to hear that your dad has enjoyed his time with us so far; the staff have enjoyed spending time with your dad and getting to know him properly. We strive to provide a high quality, person centred service tailored around each individual, their care, meals and well-being.

We have found the careers at the home to be helpful and very friendly when with both my father and myself. There is a very good choice of menu with both the main meals and snacks throughout the day. There in always something to entertain/occupy the residence
Reply from Davina Button, Home Manager at Stradbroke CourtThankyou for your feedback. We aim to improve the service on a daily basis and are always looking for ways to achieve this. We have a lovely staff team who truly care for the residents. Our Well-being Lead tailors activities around the residents involving them all, either in a group activity or a one to one basis and our chef is currently designing a spring menu taking into account peoples preferences.

I am very pleased and satisfied with the care my brother is receiving. The carers are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the areas where residents can meet are also clean and welcoming.
My brother is treated with respect and dignity and as next of kin they keep me informed
of what is going on. As I live in Cheshire ,with my own health issues, this is very important to me as I can't visit as often as I would like.
I trust the staff who are very patient especially when I phone about my brother's phone!!
Reply from Davina Button, Home Manager at Stradbroke CourtThankyou for your feedback, I will pass your kind words along to the staff. We aim to make the home a warm and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. We strive to empower independence and well-being for residents and promote holistic, person centred care.

Mum has been here since June of 2025 . She has been welcomed and made to feel safe and part of a family . The carers are so patient and really do care . Taking the time to get to know what mum likes and doesn't , even little things like how she takes her coffee or her favourite sandwich at tea time
.
Always super efficient when mum seems to be unwell or not herself , doctors are called promptly and feedback telephones through to us strong by away .
Activities are brilliant and since moving here mum has become a social butterfly attending gardening club arts and crafts , baking etc . Rachel the coordinator is brilliant .
Reply from Davina Button, Home Manager at Stradbroke CourtThankyou for your lovely feedback, We are lucky to have such a lovely staff team who genuinely go above and beyond to ensure each resident is treated with respect and is empowered to be themselves. Rachel has made a lovely difference to the residents and has helped to improve their wellbeing and the atmosphere within the home. We are always open to suggestions and ideas moving forwards.

Despite the cold weather the staff at Stradbroke Court have continued to provide excellent care for John by attending to his health and care needs. We have been regularly informed of the Christmas and New Year activties and were welcomed to attend if possible, whilst reminding us of staying away if
we have any of our own health issues. The dining room facilities and meals provided take account of the different needs of the residents. John has enjoyed the musical entertainment. There has been hairdressing and optician inspections recently. Thank you.

My mother joined stradbroke court in June 2025 of this year . She has dementia and needs 24 hour care. I feel the home meet the needs of the elderly and patients with dementia .
The activities provided keep their minds active and a chance to join in and mix with other residents. Also they can walk
about the building safely and not confined to one room or a sitting in a chair all day Residents have their own room with a toilet and washing facilities. They have their own tele and never have to share the room giving them privacy and their own space.
They have a good balanced menu and choices for all .
All staff are pleasant ad polite ad are very helpful ad supporting. Family and friends can join their ones for lunch and made very welcome .
Reply from Davina Button, Home Manager at Stradbroke CourtThankyou for the lovely feedback. We are lucky to have such a strong team who all enjoy making every day a new special experience for the residents. Having family and friends visit regularly brings so much joy to the residents and makes it feel even more like home from home.

My dad has been in the home for a few weeks now. Initially, there was a few concerns he had, management got on top of this straight away and things were put in place to help my dad settle more.
The home has lots of different events on which is lovely to be a part of.
The food always looks amazing
and residents are well looked after.

Cannot find fault with the staff, they are very polite and helpful and happy. Happy staff make happy customers. Only one problem long time waiting for the alarm system to be repaired, as I feel unsure at night, as not working correctly.

I think overall very good with a shortage of staff. Rooms are excellent and clean. One problem is that dinner is never on time. Second part - too long wait - finished meal 1.45 too long. No problem with the chef - helpful.

Very impressed with everything (cannot comment on value for money as I don't have the information). All the staff I have met whilst visiting my friend are all extremly helpful, pleasant, kind and efficient, both admin staff and care staff.
My friend might only be there temporarily for respite but everyone
has made her very welcome, have accommodated her needs and treated her with total kindness and respect.

Following the closure of another care home, my Mum moved into Stradbroke Court, she was welcomed with open arms which made the move so much easier than I expected. The staff are all lovely and helpful and the food is a huge improvement from the previous place. We can go at any time which with me working
is a great help, and we can also take our dog in which the residents seem to enjoy. Thank you to everyone involved.
