My father has been a resident of Beechcroft coming up to a year soon . It was a big decision for the family to put dad into care. We looked at quite a few care homes before we decided on Beechcroft. We looked at a few newly constructed homes . They looked wonderful, like swanky hotels. I had to sit back and view things , not from my eyes , but my dads . He wouldn't appreciate state of the art cinemas etc. He would appreciate however, a chair next to a fireplace, home cooked traditional food , seeing a trowel left in a flower pot in the garden as he sits in the garden . All these things makes it feel home from home . The staff and owners go beyond the call of duty to make my dads last few years on this earth as happy and comfortable as it ever could be. It's warm and welcoming for visitors , being asked as soon as arriving if we want a cuppa . Myself and my family couldn't rate Beechcroft highly enough .

Gran moved into Beechcroft in oct 25 initially for a month, but was made so welcome by staff and settled so well that she chose to stay on permanently.
She particularly likes the food and regularly compliments especially regarding her deserts with lashings of custard!
From my experience I have regularly visited the home at different times of the day and always been made to feel welcome, the home has always been very clean and tidy and the atmosphere is like walking into a family home.
The team of staff are excellent at including all residents equally, you can tell they put effort into finding out individual likes and dislikes and treat each person with deep care and respect.
Communication from senior staff to us relatives has always been very good. It has recently been taken over by new owners and the transition was done with great care not to impact on the residents.

We would readily recommend this home to other family's that want a small caring safe home for a loved one.

My mother has-been a resident here since February 2024.
The care and support is exemplary.
Nothing is too much trouble and residents are treated with respect and dignity.
The staff,be it cleaning, kitchen or carers get to know each individual resident. Their preferences and most importantly their personalities.
It's like a big family.

Equally, the relatives and visitors of residents are kept up to date and are again treated like one of the Beechcroft family.

My mum has been at Beachcroft for several months and has throughout that time had wonderful care and attention. The staff are all very friendly, caring and professional. The change of the home ownership has brought swift and much needed improvement to the alarm call system creating a now calm and homely feel.

My mother moved into Beechcroft 2 weeks ago. Everyone has been so kind to both her and myself.
I looked at many care providers and looked at all options but nothing felt right until I met Jess and she showed me around Beechcroft.
The home is small (18 rooms), its very clean, smells nice, all the residents look engaged and happy. The staff are all absolutely wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. Mum's room and bathroom are kept spotless. Mum is well fed and drinks well. I just feel for the first time in 6 years I can relax knowing she is safe and cared for.
I can honestly not fault anything at all with this home, its perfect.

The new owners are amazing and have made improvements already to the home. Installing a new call system that is SILENT to residents and new very comfortable beds. Lucy and Grant are very personable and have been very patient, kind and respectful to my mother making sure her every need is met. Really what more can you ask? Its Great.

My brother-in-law moved into Beechcroft for two weeks respite in March 2020. Beechcroft is an excellent CARING HOME. My observations over my visits, usually twice per week, have shown me that, without exception, ALL staff, regardless of their role show an amazing ability to show care, respect and consideration to all the residents whilst meeting their many individual needs. There is always a warm welcome to visitors and I felt that I was kept up to date with my relative's progress, health and needs within the home, Activities held there are well thought out.
The rooms are not large but are clean, comfortable and personalised by the resident's belongings such as photographs and pictures. Visitors can chat within the room or take advantage if the comfortable lounge areas. In the fine weather the garden is a welcoming bonus.
Well balanced tasty meals are served in the well set out dining area and they are cooked on the premises by excellent staff.

I have nothing but praise for the staff
