Campania ARBD Care Home in Weston-Super-Mare gives specialist support for people living with mental health conditions such as Korsakoff’s syndrome and the effects of Alcohol-Related Brain Damage (ARBD).

Housed in a large Victorian building just a short walk from Weston-Super-Mare’s seafront, Campania offers a welcoming and supportive environment where residents can work towards greater independence.

Residents take part in a wide range of activities, from art classes and baking to cooking nutritious meals — a key step towards developing independent living skills. The activities coordinator also organises weekly outings, including swimming, bowling, cinema trips, country walks, and visits to local sites of historical interest.

Independence is encouraged through involvement in everyday tasks such as laundry, housekeeping, and gardening, all carried out with the guidance and support of staff.

The home features a large lounge stocked with books, newspapers, and magazines, as well as a spacious conservatory and a courtyard garden — lovingly maintained by residents.

My brother and I were very impressed with the care home. It was obvious that he had been treated with respect and care. His room was well kept, clean and most acceptable.
Lovely vare workers who looked after my brother tirelessly to the end. Thank you.

I can highly recommend Campania ARBD Care Home. The staff and management have done a fantastic job with my brother. What a team! He is so well cared for, for all his needs. I feel like the staff are an extension of the family. Very approachable, always helpful 24/7. They have given me peace of mind
knowing he is safe, happy and so well cared for. Nothing is too much trouble. Keep up the brilliant work and once again thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me my brother back. I haven't seen him look this good in years.

I only visit my brother in Campania Care Home once or twice a year as I live a considerable distance away. During the years, he has been living there, my brother has been well looked after and is happy and contented. Some of the aspects listed in my ratings, I cannot answer as I didn't know and therefore
cannot judge. My sister, who lives nearby deals with any issues that arise and visits regularly. So does my brother's partner.

After a successful career at Lloyd’s Banking, Emma followed her passion for helping others, earning an NVQ3 in Health and Social Care and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care. These qualifications highlight her commitment to providing exceptional care and effective leadership.


In her previous role as Senior Support Worker, Emma excelled in leadership and compliance, ensuring that care practices were tailored to meet each resident’s unique needs and preferences. Her hands-on approach empowers her team to deliver compassionate, person-centred care, making sure every resident feels heard and respected.


Emma’s commitment to personalised care shines through in her meticulous attention to detail and proactive communication. She works closely with her team to create a warm, safe environment where the well-being of residents is always the top priority.
