Cleeve Lodge Residential Care Home

All is very satisfactory and Mum is happy which is the main thing. Her personal care is an issue as a lot of times mum has dirty clothes on as do a lot of the other service providers, they could go out more often and a lot of times her mobile is flat and I have to search for a charger. The food is basic but I guess that is what they like choice of sausage and chips or scampi and chips as the main meal of the day. I would like to see more fruit instead of cake.

The home has a relaxed atmosphere. Visitors are always welcome warmly and staff are always happy to talk about concerns you might have for your loved one. Residents are very well cared for with dignity and understanding, and there is a full calendar of activities. The staff at Cleeve Lodge work to a very high standard.

Lots of activities available for residents, and lots of friendly, patient carers. Always very accommodating.

My mother has been a resident at Cleeve Lodge for two months but has been having daycare since March 2023. She is happy and wanted to move in to be with her friends, she loves the activities and trips. All the staff are friendly, kind and welcoming. I certainly have peace of mind that she is well cared for.

Our experience has been excellent, from the day my husband joined the happy family at Cleeve Lodge until now. We could not ask for a better care home.

We would highly recommend Cleeve Lodge Care Home. Our mother was there for several years and we cannot fault the home and its staff at all. Everybody is so friendly and helpful and did everything they could to cater to Mum's needs. We were always kept updated regarding her health and the doctor called regularly. Mum enjoyed taking part in the activities and the entertainment was excellent. We are lucky we were able to settle Mum into this caring home.

Dad has received wonderful care and is always treated with dignity and kindness. There are always lots of activities and day trips, which everyone enjoys. As his needs have changed, everything possible has been put in place to support him. The staff are very friendly and helpful and have dealt with any queries promptly and professionally. I am very happy we chose Cleeve; Dad is content and very well looked after.

Thoughtful care was very much top of the agenda. Very personal attention to Mum's needs which made her feel comfortable and secure. She was allowed her own personal space and choice of joining in or otherwise any of the activities that were organised at the home.

The staff are so caring and helpful to my mum. I can’t fault the care she receives. Nothing is too much trouble. When Mum was a bit down recently they were great at doing things with her to try to cheer her up.

Amazing home! My aunt is always clean and tidy, as is her room. The staff are always willing to help or advise in any way. I know for a fact my aunt would not be here today if she hadn't taken residence at Cleevelodge. We wouldn't have coped without you! Thank you all.

This is the second care home Mum has been in. The difference between the two is night and day! She is very happy here, well looked after with wonderful staff. I would say 10/10. Very friendly, helpful staff and management.

This is an amazing home with an amazing team who showed dedication not only to their work but for the residents as well. It’s hard to sum up our appreciation of the care Mum received but thank you to all the staff.

My mum recently spent a week in respite at Cleeve Lodge after suffering a stroke and I have to say the care and consideration given to her whilst she was there made it actually enjoyable for her. Although her room was small it was kept spotlessly clean and she never tired of telling me how kind everyone was. Thank you to the staff at Cleeve Lodge for making Mum's stay so safe and comfortable, she says that she felt genuinely cared for.

Cannot believe, we, as a family, were so lucky in finding such a special place for our mum to spend her last 2-years. The staff are amazing, not only caring for residents' needs with compassion and dignity but go out of their way to make the families feel welcome as well. The home is spotlessly clean and well cared for, and everyone is treated with care, dignity and compassion. Residents are always kept entertained and very well cared for.

My mum has been a resident at Cleeve Lodge for 2 years. Mum is very well looked after by everyone, the staff are so caring and loving. The home is always spotless and doesn't smell like a care home which others did when visiting. They have plenty of activities to stimulate them. This home is first class, I would highly recommend to all. The chefs cook all the food from scratch and always makes me feel hungry. Well done Cleeve Lodge.

One morning their quick response when they found a lady that was unwell, calling the doctor and ambulance was excellent. On coming out of hospital they have continued with excellent care for this lady.

Cleeve Lodge Residential Care Home provide a safe and caring environment for residents. The staff know the residents really well and provide many activities and treats to improve their quality of life.

My mother is well cared for and all her needs are met. The staff are very friendly and offer companionship as well as care. They always keep me informed and are always ready to answer any enquiries I have.
