Cleeve Lodge Residential Care Home

Since Mum coming to the care home in February and unfortunately her declining health, Cleeve Lodge staff have been treating Mum with great dignity and respect. Making her last few months feel that she is in a family environment.

My Nan stayed here on respite whilst I went on holiday with my parents. She really enjoyed her time here, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food must have been good as she actually ate. My Nan even joined in with the activities and enjoyed the company.

My mother recently died aged 103 after moving into Cleeve Lodge three years ago. Whilst independent, her eyesight, hearing and progressively mobility, deteriorated and she became increasingly dependent on staff. She was indeed fortunate to have been placed in Cleeve Lodge. All the staff looked after her in a professional, caring and respectful manner. The ethos was fully inclusive and the care excellent. I have nothing but praise and respect for the staff at all levels. On her behalf, thank you.

We are very lucky. This home is the best anyone can ask for. The staff are brilliant, helpful and cheerful. I have been here 8 and a half years and I do not regret one moment.

My brother is a resident of Cleeve Lodge Care Home. He has been there for nearly three years. In that time he has been looked after exceptionally well with all his personal care as well as his physical and entertainment needs. The management, as well as all of the staff, are superb and always make time for all the residents' needs.

The staff are excellent nothing is too much trouble, food, rooms and cleanliness are all above excellent. Mother is much happier now.

Wonderful staff with a truly caring attitude, have made my mum most welcome and at home. Mum has smiled more in the last year than she has done for many years and the staff have helped myself and my sister through a difficult time. I could not recommend Cleeve Lodge any higher.

My stay at Cleeve Lodge was like staying at a nice hotel but with carers on hand when needed. The staff were friendly and helpful and I am looking forward to going back to stay for respite later this summer.

The care home is very good, the staff are very good and considerate.

My father has only been resident in this home for the period 2/5/16 - 5/10/16. He passed away on this date. The care and attention given to my father was excellent. He enjoyed the care and attention provided by the staff. Nothing was too much. The food was superb as he was alway praising how good it was. He participated in activities where possible which kept his mind active. The staff were friendly and supportive at all times. The end of life care was exceptional. I've already booked my place for later life!!

The staff are most patient, kind and respectful. There is a continued programme of activities and outings, and plenty of good, well-trained staff at all times.

My sister has dementia and has been in care for 14 months. The care she receives is really good and they are very kind to her. They have taken a weight off my mind.

I am very pleased with the care home. The staff are excellent, always willing to help and you can always talk to them about anything, they then do the best they can to help you. My dad does feel safe and secure there with 24hr assistance which he needs.

We have been extremely pleased with the care and support given to our relative. Despite our grandmother presenting multiple challenges with hostility and memory issues - the staff are extremely patient, gentle, respectful and professional. Our grandmother has settled in well due to the kindness and support offered to her at Cleeve Lodge. There are interesting and appropriate activities on, almost every day as well as trips out. We are always kept informed of significant information and the home is kept very nicely - clean with interesting displays.

My friend moved to Cleeve Lodge nearly two years ago following a stay in hospital. The staff are kind and helpful even when he is grumpy and uncooperative. His medical problems have increased but the home has provided the specialist equipment he needs and arranges medical appointments when necessary.

I cannot praise Cleeve Lodge highly enough and recommend it to anyone thinking of going into care either for respite of as a permanent resident.
