Located near the centre of Truro, with beautiful views over the city, Redannick has an excellent reputation in the local community, providing residential, nursing, dementia and palliative care.

With four wings, each with its own lounge, the home also has a conservatory and two dining areas, where residents enjoy delicious home-cooked meals, prepared by the home’s own chef. From roast dinners with all the trimmings to fish and chip Fridays, and home-baking for afternoon tea.

The residents enjoy so many activities, from chair-based exercises and yoga, to music, games, baking, bingo and gardening.

The local community is embraced into life at Redannick and the team is passionate about keeping those community connections alive. They welcome singers and musicians, local storytellers and a group who play traditional Cornish fiddle music. Children from the local school and nursery also come and sing for the residents, who love these intergenerational activities.

The team is passionate about big celebrations and love to dress up for themed occasions.

Redannick also has a hairdressing room, where the residents can enjoy weekly appointments with a mobile hairdresser.

The home is in a fantastic location, in a residential area close to the centre of Truro, where there is so much to do. But it’s the team who make it special, with many having been with Redannick for several years, it’s a lively and vibrant home, with a warm, family feel.

Redannick also benefits from excellent transport links, close to the main Truro train station, which is excellent for family and friends, who are welcome at any time.

Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. Our 2025 weekly care fees for residential care start from £1407 and for nursing care £1612, but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.

Since my mum has become a resident, I have been very satisfied with the level of care she is receiving.
All of her needs are completely met from management, nursing staff and carers.
Although she suffers from dementia, she has said she is so happy here.
Whenever I visit and leave, it is always
with the knowledge my mum is very comfortable and happy.

My uncle and his wife are both residents at Redannick. I am impressed by the following aspects of their Redannick experience. The friendliness, helpfulness and quality of all the staff we have encountered. Also reflected in the comments from my resident relatives.
The flexibility of visitor arrangements.
We live hours away, so can have challenges with timing our visits. Staff have always accommodated our timetable and welcomed us. Food and drink after our long journey is always offered.
The visible improvement in my aunt's health since her arrival at Redannick. She has dementia so communication is difficult, but what we see is a happier, more lively and contented person.
The facilities are spacious, clean and well-furnished.
The special activities, Christmas celebrations and birthday celebrations are well done.
An opportunity for improvement is that it is not easy to exercise in the limited indoor space, taking more able residents for short daily walks would bring health and mental benefits.

Care and love at Redannick is just very noticeable at your first contact with everyone there. The place is very clean. Food could be better, but it's ok. When you have dementia, care and attention is very important. Plush carpets and all above decor is not important. Redannick could be more modernised,
but that may be awarded with the takeover from Cornwall care to Sanctuary which is gradually happening now. Time will tell.

My mum is very well cared for and all her needs are met. She is very content in Redannick House. The management and staff are working very hard and succeeding in all their endeavours. Housekeeping do a great job. The staff are all friendly and approachable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Reddanick
House to anyone looking for care for a loved one. My mum has thrived during the twelve months she has lived in Redannick.

My wife has been in care for the past two years and four months. I am abundantly aware of the pressure, demands and complexity all staff have to deal with in care homes.
Redannick is a well run home with professionalism to the forefront.
The senior staff set a very good example to the carers and
it is noticeable that all staff do their very best to provide an environment of humour, friendship and reassurance to all residents.

Redannick continues to provide excellent care to my father. To their credit, Dad has just had his longest spell of being generally well - lasting some 4 months or so. Previously, he has needed medical care every month or two. This is a tribute to the staff who are immediately able to see and respond
to slight changes in health patterns. Thank you to ALL staff at Redannick who provided a lovely 90th birthday party for Dad - food, singing, gifts and decorating the home for the celebration. The food was amazing. Dad and I are really grateful. All the residents and staff seemed to enjoy the party. A tribute must be paid to all staff and the way they coped during the recent bad weather to ensure that residents had their carers in place. Again, thank you.

My mum has been cared for at this establishment for over 5 years. I have a very close bond with my mum and only the best care could make me feel at ease with her not being at home. I know of nowhere else where genuine affection is shown to residents in the same way. The residents are given time and

Staff are very caring and demonstrate a genuine affection for the residents. Although many residents have dementia, their views and opinions are still sought and they are always offered choices.

It is the personal touch that stands out at Redannick House. Every resident is treated as an individual. The carers that have worked there a long time know each residents likes and dislikes and they teach the new carers.
There is always laughter at Redannick House between staff, staff and residents
and staff and families.
I am always observing staff giving residents a hug, cuddle or a kiss, always so spontaneous!
Each day I feel so lucky that mum is in such an amazing place like Redannick House.
It is mums home and my family call it "our Redannick family".

I love going out with my daughters but then I love coming back home to Redannick House.
I think all the carers are wonderful and look after me so well.
I have lived at Redannick for nearly two years and I love all the staff. They are always so happy. My favourite times are when singers and musicians

The most important fact of this care home is the very kind and caring attitude that the staff have towards the residents. This is first class in all respects. Cleanliness is also excellent. My mum has lived at Redannick for the past four years. Whatever time of day or evening I visit, I have always found the staff (all staff including managers, carers, cleaners, cooks!) very friendly, helpful and approachable.
Mum seems happy, there's plenty of entertainment. She looks well cared for
and is always treated with dignity - I would have no trouble recommending Redannick to other people and I appreciate all they do for her.

My relative suffers from dementia and has been at Redannick House for over a year. The building may not be posh, but the staff are very caring, friendly and attentive and my relative is happy there. When visiting, all service users are treated with respect.

The staff at Redannick genuinely care for the residents they look after. Nothing is too much trouble and they always go that extra mile to ensure a person's needs are met. The food is excellent, the home is light and always feels welcoming. They offer a good range of services and daily activities plus
entertainment.
But most importantly my mum is happy there and that is thanks to their excellent team of staff.

My father-in-law is beautifully and lovingly cared for at Redannick by all members of staff.
All staff engage with him and I feel all anxiety issues he suffers due to his dementia and Alzheimers are addressed.
He is always clean and his room is kept spotless, with fresh sheets. I always feel welcome
at the home and the atmosphere is one of warmth, love and sincere care.

Redannick Care Home is exactly what the title describes. The staff provide excellent care with compassion to each individual residents. There is always a happy response to their needs. Visitors are welcoming and staff are happy to discuss their loved ones current situation with families.
Opportunities
are provided for involvement with many activities taking place regularly in the home or outside trips to various venues. I appreciate the care given to my husband. It is comforting to know that he considers Redannick House to be his home.
