My father was taken to Trewartha on palliative care, he was there for a week before he died. The staff treated him and us (my mother, sister and myself) with so much love, respect and kindness. I cannot fault the care that they gave him at us at such a difficult time. I am emmensly grateful.

I have nothing but praise for the way the carers and staff looked after my husband during his 16 months time at Trewartha. He was always treated with respect and dignity. The carers really got to know him and were always ready with a joke and a laugh even though he couldn't really respond towards the end. I visited nearly every day and again I was always treated so well and made it feel welcome. Although it was a sad time in our lives it was made more memorable by the staff at Trewartha. Thankyou so much.

I have been visiting this residential home for two years, and have always had lovely welcome and made to feel relaxed.
My mother's has several grand children and great grandchildren visiting and all have been very welcome, juice and biscuits have been made available, very nice.
The only thing I think is not fully utilised is the outside area,, good access seems in place but lacks some vision maybe.

This care home is always well presented and residents are really well carer for.

My mother has been a resident in Trewartha for nearly three years after an emergency admission . Her care has been of a consistently high standard with real attention to detail about what she likes and what most matters to her . The staff group, night and day are a stable team who work together in a respectful way. My mum's physical care is great and of equal importance the support for her as her Alzheimer's progresses is attentive , kind and ambitious . When I have raised an issue it has always been taken very seriously and attended to. The peace of mind that this gives me is invaluable

The home is warm and comfortable and my aunt is very happy there. The staff are lovely and look after her well. Lovely to have a salon there for when I set her hair! New conservatory is great for added enjoyment, especially in the summer months. Always greeted with a smile from the staff at reception and within the home.

Words cannot convey how much my family values the care, support and love shown to our sister and indeed ourselves.
Every communication about everything concerning her is always prompt and given in detail.

This is a general review of how fabulously kind, caring and understanding all the staff at Trewartha are at all times and how nothing is too much trouble, the friendly welcome we always receive, the levels of care and compassion that our mum is always shown and the speed and efficiency that any enquiry or query is dealt with. We had to find somewhere at reasonably short notice to get mum into after some problems at home and hospital visits left her unable to cope on her own. Me and my two sisters faced the difficult decision to move mum from her long time home into care, but the whole experience was made much easier by the reassurance and compassion shown to us all by the Trewartha team .Mum is happy and safe, fed and watered, has her own lovely room, is well known by the staff and it has given us all peace of mind knowing that mum is so well looked after. We cant speak highly enough of Trewartha and all of its staff, our mum could not be in better hands! Thankyou for everything you do

My mum's birthday - everyone made a point of coming over to wish her a happy birthday - A cake was made specially for afternoon tea - chocolate - her favourite - a card and a box of chocolates given to her by the home. All staff are always courteous, helpful, friendly, competent, polite and respected. Everything is always actioned immediately - everyone knows my name and who's daughter I am. Nothing is too much trouble for Trewartha Residential and Nursing Home.

My mum has stayed before and thought so highly of it that when she was unwell again, she had no hesitation in wanting to stay at Trewartha Residential and Nursing Home for some recuperation time following a hospital admission.
The staff are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble and my mum particularly enjoyed the craft activities, she did clay work and made a Christmas wreath, amongst other things. They are unfailingly kind, cheerful and show real care to all residents at all times.
She loved the food and her room was bright and looked out over a garden area and bird table.
Her discharge from hospital was not good but the staff at Trewartha managed to sort all of the things that the discharge missed, from lost medication, to a missing spacer and even a cannula which hadn't been removed in hospital.
She has now returned home as she is well enough to do so but if and when she needs some extra care, she would have no hesitation in returning.

Thank you to all the staff for going above and beyond.

Mum has recently become a resident at Trewartha. Mum says it's like a top-class hotel, spotlessly clean everywhere. Food is of a high standard and gorgeous, Mum has even put on some weight. Mum loves the friendliness of all the staff who often sit to have a natter, she says they're so lovely and kind. Mum has made friends at the home and loves the company.
I visit Mum twice a week and the staff are always so friendly and kind, I am updated on any relevant information to include health issues. I no sooner sit with Mum on my visits and a cup of tea and biscuit appears for us both. I can tell from my visits that Mum is content and happy and most of all safe, and that is all I could hope for my elderly mum.

Thank you all staff and management.

We are delighted with the level of care my father is receiving. The staff keep us informed and the nursing staff advise us and deal with any health issues.
Whenever we visit all staff members are so welcoming and polite and we cannot fault the care and kindness shown towards my father.
A particular mention must be given for the wonderful day my father had recently for his 100th birthday. Everyone made a fuss of him, there were presents, surprises and also a delicious buffet and birthday cake.

We are relieved that he has settled and is so happy which gives us peace of mind.
