I'm so happy with the care and effort with all the staff at Trewartha. My dad is now a full-time resident here. I and mother are very pleased with how he has settled so quickly and receiving the right care he needs now with his condition. Thank you for looking after my dad so well!

I cannot praise Trewartha House and their wonderful team higher.
My nan was a resident form September 19 to her death in June 20. In a truly difficult time for our family, we could rest knowing she was looked after to a high standard and that she was truly in the best hands. She was our best friend, and they treated her as if she were theirs too.

We were so lucky to have found them. Our heroes.

Trewartha House care home is a home from home, I was very worried about mum staying as I did not have a chance to review before she moved in, but I needn’t have worried, the staff are wonderful and very caring and respectful.
There are plenty of sitting areas and the layout is open plan and spacious, plenty of very large televisions in the main sitting areas, the bedrooms are small but functional and the staff will put pictures up if required and make sure everything is just so for you.
Mum was only in Trewartha for a couple of months but her time there was joyous, they have a wonderful setup and keep everyone involved, unfortunately, the weather was not good enough to use the outside areas.

Mum received exceptional end of life care at Trewartha and I was kept informed of every stage and I could visit whenever I wanted, I really could not fault them at all. I would have no hesitation of recommending Trewartha.

Visited my mum today (20th June) at Trewartha House in Carbis Bay, Cornwall and am so impressed with this home and the staff I saw working there today. My mum is clearly being looked after excellently. The home is very, very clean with no 'stale urine' odour which is present in many care homes. I work in mental health and have done so for many, many years. The home is bright, airy and uplifting with two lovely resident cats! I cannot find fault at all. Care work is hard work with long hour hours and low pay - these staff deserve a pay rise!

As soon as my husband and I walked through the door we were met and greeted by the loveliest of staff. I was anxious before going in because it was to visit my dying cousin but I felt really relaxed with all the kindness shown to me.

We cannot praise the manager and her staff enough. So impressed with the way each one carried out their duties. Well done!

Very welcoming staff. Residents engaged in activities and the home had a pleasant atmosphere. Staff approached visitors offering refreshment and information. Everyone was very helpful. Residents appeared comfortable and happy to take part in conversations and activities. There was an activities coordinator speaking with people individually and giving assistance.

I am a local visitor to the Trewartha care home. My late husband was a resident there for five years and during that time he received excellent care. Every resident is treated with dignity and respect by very dedicated and caring staff, and all visitors are made to feel welcome. I consider Trewartha to be an excellent care home and one of the best.

Trewartha as a home is excellent. Staff are very attentive and caring - not only to the residents but also to visitors (it was our first visit to here). When we visited my mum we were offered refreshments on 2 out of 3 visits and were made very welcome. The general atmosphere at Trewartha is very easy going, friendly and that all residents are looked after very well.

I have made two visits to a lady who I visited in her own home until she was unable to look after herself and came into Trewartha House.
The first time I came I was met with a friendly smile and offered a cup of tea. The lady I come to see was in a large, bright communal area and had some other visitors with her. She seemed well settled and introduced me to one of the staff who had developed a close relationship with her. I left with a really good first impression which was confirmed when I came in for a second visit.

The lady I was visiting was being seen by a chiropodist and after that gave me a guided tour. There was a feeling of cleanliness and some lovely personal touches to the decor. She told me of the other residents that she talks to and spoke very fondly of the staff. She said she 'felt very loved' by them.

My experience is when visiting my aunt. Trewartha House has an amazing feeling of warmth and sensitivity, efficiency and professionalism. The building and its lightness plus the fantastic enthusiasm and warmth of the staff is amazing particularly compared to other homes I have visited. There is always a staff member to find and nothing is too much trouble. This is how it should be done.

A fabulous home where the staff cannot do enough for the residents despite some

of them being quite challenging. I can not recommend Trewartha enough, my mother has been here since October and she has been looked after extremely well by everyone from the manager to every member of the care team. It’s a fantastic place.

From the date of my wife's stay at Trewartha House ,I have been more than impressed by the care and attention of all the people who work there, from the manager and all the carers/nurses, not only just to my wife, but as a regular visitor I have noticed that the way each resident is looked after and their needs catered for, even some of the "difficult" ones is exemplary ! ......every resident's name is known to the staff & all are greeted in a very friendly way. all the meals provided are to restaurant standard...........the accommodation is also very good ,each individual bedroom is well furnished , central heated , cleaned daily. Plus clean linen daily and laundry service. Personal belongings, photo's, pictures, radio, tv etc etc.

Like everyone, I would like the best available care for my ageing mother who has dementia. Having visited many homes, I feel that in Trewartha House my mother would be getting the best that could be offered. My impressions of the home were outstanding with caring, happy staff in nice surroundings offering a complete care package.
