Kara joined The Court team as Registered Manager in June 2023, bringing over 21 years of experience in social care across a wide range of specialisms, including Learning Disabilities, Autism, Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and physical disabilities.

As Registered Manager and Nominated Individual, Kara is responsible for the overall leadership, governance, and quality of the service. This includes ensuring the home provides safe, effective, and person-centred care, maintaining compliance with CQC regulations, supporting and developing the staff team, and working closely with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to continuously enhance the service.

Kara oversees the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring high standards of care are maintained, staff receive the training and support they need, and residents are empowered to live fulfilling and meaningful lives in a safe and welcoming environment.

Gary joined The Court team in early 2023 as a Senior Care Assistant. Through his dedication and leadership skills, he progressed to the role of Team Leader, where he continued to provide high-quality care while supervising the senior care team, promoting best practice, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Towards the end of 2025, Gary was promoted to Deputy Manager. In this role, he supports the day-to-day running of the home, oversees staff practice and compliance, and helps to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care.

Gary's responsibilities also include overseeing medication management, monitoring compliance audits, and supporting a range of operational functions within the home. His experience, commitment to quality care, and supportive approach make him a valued member of The Court's leadership team.

Sarah joined the family business in 2022, following her parents' acquisition of The Court in 2002. In her role, she oversees the facilities team, including activities, events, housekeeping, catering, and maintenance, ensuring every aspect of the home runs smoothly and contributes to a welcoming, comfortable environment for residents.

Sarah also manages the home's financial operations, including staff payroll, budgeting, and invoicing, helping to ensure the service operates efficiently and sustainably. She works closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager, supporting the leadership team in delivering high-quality care while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.

Sarah's dedication, organisational skills, and commitment to excellence play a vital role in ensuring The Court remains a warm, supportive, and well-managed home for residents, families, and staff.

I have the incredibly rewarding role of arranging person-centred activities tailored to the needs and preferences of our residents. I aim to provide social interaction, mental and physical stimulation, engagement, well-being, and a genuine sense of purpose and joy in their daily lives.

I organise a wide range of meaningful activities to ensure residents lead active, happy, and fulfilling lives. The role requires creativity, organisation, flexibility, proactivity, and strong communication skills to deliver the best possible experiences for everyone.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is building strong relationships with residents, getting to know their individual likes, interests, and personalities, and creating activities that truly enrich their lives.

Naomi has worked at The Court for over nine years and is a valued member of our team. As our Hydration Lead, she plays a key role in promoting good hydration practices throughout the home, ensuring residents receive the support and encouragement they need to maintain their health and wellbeing.

Naomi is also a Senior Care Assistant and regularly leads shifts, providing guidance and support to both residents and colleagues. Her experience, dedication, and compassionate approach make her an important part of our care team.

George has been part of The Court team for five years and is a dedicated Senior Care Assistant. He plays an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being are always a priority.

As a Senior Care Assistant, George regularly leads shifts and supports both residents and colleagues with his knowledge, experience, and positive approach. His commitment and caring nature make him a valued member of our team.

Keri joined The Court in 2025 and is a valued member of our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, she is dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centred care, supporting residents with kindness, compassion, and professionalism.

Keri is also our Medication Lead, overseeing medication management within the home and helping to ensure that residents receive their medications safely and effectively. Her attention to detail, commitment to best practice, and supportive approach make her an important part of our care team.

Alicia is a dedicated Senior Care Assistant who is committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. She supports residents with compassion, dignity, and respect, helping to create a warm and welcoming environment within the home.

Alicia is currently undertaking her Diploma Level 3 in Adult Social Care, further developing her knowledge and skills to enhance the care and support she provides. Her enthusiasm for learning and commitment to professional development make her a valued member of our team.

Courtney is a dedicated Care Assistant who is committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care and support to residents. She plays an important role in promoting residents' comfort, dignity, and well-being, ensuring their individual needs are met to a high standard.

Lilly joined The Court team initially through a work experience placement from a local college. During her time with us, she demonstrated a strong interest in care, a positive attitude, and a natural compassion for supporting others.

Following the completion of her placement, Lilly chose to stay on and has now begun her journey as a Trainee Care Assistant. She is developing her skills and knowledge in adult social care while gaining hands-on experience within the home, supported by the wider team.

As the granddaughter of Elaine, the owner of The Court, Emily has grown up around the care home and has a long-standing personal connection to it. This background has given her a strong understanding of the home’s values and a deep commitment to the residents and team.

Ellie joined The Court team this year as a Care Assistant and has quickly become a valued member of the team. She is committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care and supporting residents with dignity, respect, and kindness in their daily lives.

Paul works closely with the care team to ensure residents receive meals that not only meet their nutritional needs but also promote enjoyment and well-being. He maintains high standards of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
