Cornerways

My wife moved into Cornerways care home for respite and has been made very welcome by all the friendly and helpful staff- they make the time to be helpful. As the partner of a resident, myself and our family have been kept well informed

Dad has lived in Cornerways for three years and I continue to be very happy with his care. The staff have gone to great lengths to care for him as his health has changed over time. The staff look at each residents' individual needs and interests. I would recommend Cornerways to anyone.

Confident he receives the best care and is treated with dignity . The home is always clean and smells clean. The staff are excellent and friendly to residents and their family members. Then food is always freshly cooked and very good

Mum sadly had to go in to a care home in December 2025. What a tough decision of where to take her to live. Such a difficult time for all of us but especially mum who wasn't able to make any decisions for herself. So much pressure for us as a family to make the right choices. Cornerways have been amazing. Helping us all to make this huge transition. The communication has been fantastic. Their care for mum amazing. And they are doing their best to make us all feel at home as much as is possible during this difficult time. A massive thank you to you all. I would definitely recommend this caring home and amazing staff to anyone looking for a care home. Especially for those with levels of dementia that means they sadly aren't safe to be in their own home. Thank you.

There are various daily activities for the residents.and periodically there are trips by coach to outside activities.

As a family we are happy with the care she receives and will be informed promptly if there is a concern ie medical. There are always lots of activities going on for the residents and they have a hairdressers. I would recommend this home.

Staff are very welcoming. Residents well looked after with varied activities for them to take part in.

Everyone at Cornerways is kind, caring and understanding at all levels. Nothing is too much trouble. I visit a couple of times a week and the staff are really kind. Even other visitors are chatty with both me and my husband. There is always a lovely feel to the care home. which is why I chose Cornerways.

Very caring staff, couldn't wish for my husband to be cared for anymore than he is. Would recommend this home anytime. Always keep me informed of anything that is happening, including any changes to do with my husband

Very happy that my Dad is residing at Cornerways. I live in Spain and have no concern with the way Dad is being looked after. I try to visit 4 times a year. The staff I know are friendly and helpful.

I cannot praise the staff enough for the care of my mother, she is happy and settled. The staff understand her needs very well and they take the time to tell me how she is getting on as I live quite a distance away, this gives me peace of mind when I can't visit.

months now , and I have nothing but praise for all the staff there , the kindness care and love they show to all the residents there is second to none and I do spend a lot of time with my partner and I never see or hear anything that would put my partner in danger or upset him .Cleaners floor staff and senior staff alike are all super caring thankyou Cornerways .

We are kept informed on a regular basis & the staff always find time to reassure us even though they are so busy. Smiles are in abundance.

Really loving home who care very much about the people in there care. Always there if I have any concerns, nothing is too much trouble. My husband is very happy there and well looked after, they also do lots of different activities with them. Home from hime

The care given to dad continues to amaze me. The fact that they have fabulous staff to think of ways of entertaining the residents is so reassuring. And it shows as dad is always happy with everything. Alan the new chef is also doing a great job. Thanks to everyone.

The staff are attentive and patient and keep us informed of mum-in-laws care. There is a nice atmosphere in the home and the staff are very friendly. They take the residents for a day out once a month, which is lovely for them, and have activities and events at the home.

We were always updated in respect of dad's general health and any problems were discussed.

I would like to say thank you so much to everyone for making my mum's stay a really happy one. The staff went above and beyond to meet her care needs and were very attentive in the last stage of her life which was very quick. I know my mum really enjoyed being at Cornerways due to the friendly atmosphere and the wonderful activities provided. It is a lovely place to visit your loved ones and are always assured they are in good care and safe environment. You are all amazing!!
