Overall I want to express gratitude, especially to the caregivers who do their best to create a calm, cheerful and safe ambience and undertake personal care with respect. Almost always they seem affectionate, kind, patient; they are usually capable, observant, supportive of each other and appropriate
in seeking help. I cannot speak highly enough of them.
The manager is accessible, friendly and has a sunny disposition which affects us all. Staff are helpful and competent if we ask for extra help. Coppelia seems welcoming, institutional and often cheerfully informal.
These aspects of my sister's care are really valued by all the family.

My Grandad moved into Plymbridge House to have company and to be looked after in a setting with suits him. From before move in, the staff have been helpful and kind, they offered for my grandad to have lunch with them, and to stay for a few hours to see how he felt about Plymbridge before committing
to moving in. Since being there, Grandad has had nothing but lovely things to say about the staff, the residents, the food and the house!
Even though grandad is not the typical resident you would find in a care home, the staff allow him to remain independent and for him to come and go as he pleases.

Mum was in the home for 3 weeks for respite after an operation. Mum my two brothers and myself could not fault the care she received. Everyone in the home went the extra mile, the care, the food, the daily entertainment. Mum will miss all of this and the company. Mum isn't ready for full time care yet,
May be in the future.

My aunt who has vascular dementia, moved into Coppelia House in July 2024. When we were first shown around we knew she would be well look after and happy there. It took her a few months to get settled but she is very happy there. The staff are always really friendly towards me and are proffessional
and kind to the residents. Coppelia House has always smelt clean and homely. My aunt is looking so much better since being resident there as she doesn't have anything to worry about. I would not hesitate to recommend Coppelia for anyone needing residential care.

I am very satisfied with the excellent support given at Bramble Down to my wife. She has been a resident there since January 2023 & I was reluctant for her to go there initially as I had looked after her at home for 3 years. The staff were welcoming and patient. They have subsequently been so supportive
not only to my wife but to us as a family. They are genuinely fond of her making sure she is dressed as she would like & taking appropriate care with her appearance. They are professional, dedicated, highly skilled & efficient. She is always treated with dignity & respect. The kitchen staff ensure that every day she has blended food that is individually prepared for her. The home is always very clean. Her room is particularly nice, very appropriate to her needs with a door leading to the garden. I never worry about her when I am not there as I know she is safe & secure with qualified nurses available at all times. A range of activities are available & she joins in when appropriate.

My experience has been that the staff at Coppelia House are warm, friendly and place the wellbeing of the residents at the heart of all they do. Every member of the team is approachable, kind and supportive even when at their most busy. What stands out from spending time at Coppelia is the respect that
is shown to each resident by the staff.
Mum has been treated with understanding, dignity and compassion throughout her time at Coppelia and her personal needs and interests have been accommodated by staff going above and beyond to ensure she is still able to pursue her passions and allowing her personality to shine. She feels loved, valued and safe.
Staff are always ready with a smile or a reassuring word and that support extends not only to residents but also to visiting family members, who are made to feel welcome at all times, making everyone feel included and at ease.
Thank you Coppelia for all you do!

I am filled with deep gratitude to all the staff at Brambledown who cared for my dear father for the final ten months of his long-lived life. There is no doubt in my mind that Dad's outlook on the remainder of his time on this earth was dramatically altered as a result of the kindness, thoughtfulness,
humour and engagement of everyone working there.
. Brambledown brought him in to the heart of their community and made him feel valued in his efforts to 'give something back' for all their care of him.
I could not have wished for a brighter, warmer and kinder environment for the space that was 'home' for Dad.
Overall I know that Dad had a sense of Hope at Brambledown..that family and friends were always welcome; special occasions could be creatively accommodated for in the most beautiful way; someone would always be there when needed; laughter was around every corner and especially in the dining room!
Thank you Brambledown from the bottom of my heart.

The care is outstanding that my mother-in-law is receiving. She can have some very challenging behaviour and they are doing everything they can to try and help her.
The staff are attentive and patient and keep us informed of mum-in-laws care. There is a nice atmosphere in the home and the staff are
very friendly. They take the residents for a day out once a month, which is lovely for them, and have activities and events at the home.
