At Greycliffe Manor their main aim is to treat their residents as they would want their own mother or father to be treated. Their staff have been with the service for a long time and take pride on not just being professional carers but an extended family for all residents.

Greycliffe Manor is mainly a home for people living with moderate-needs dementia. The residents enjoy a friendly, happy, home-from-home atmosphere with professional and highly trained staff. The carers really get to know their residents well, learning each one's personal preferences and the things that make them unique.

Residents are encouraged to join in on the daily activities, eat well, sleep well and socialise. The home is very focused on helping its residents to recapture that sparkle for life. And as a smaller home, staff treat the residents as individuals and have time to pay attention to the little things.

Longer-term residential care and also day-care are available. In day-care, individuals may choose to join the home during the day but go back to their own home during the night. Shorter visits are also available (for example coming for a couple of hours to join for a cup of tea and a bath) and joining in activities with the home's friendly little family.

My father is well cared for and has good food and very attentive service at all times. The staff are caring and always let me speak to him at any time on the phone and look after him at all times through the night should he require a drink or anything.

When my mother entered the home, she was very anxious, recovering from illness and extremely disturbed at night. In the first few weeks, several ambulances were required to address her medical issues. Throughout this time the staff encouraged her and helped her to settle in, plus continued to contact
the GP to ensure she had the right medical support to address her issues. Now a few months later, she is like a new woman, happy, settled and doesn't wish to leave the home. She loves all the staff and has made friends with the residents. I'm welcome any time and always made to feel welcome. I am very grateful to all the staff for helping my mother to feel happy again.

My husband has been attending daycare for a while and really enjoys being there. He always enjoys the food provided and participates if there is entertainment. As family we could not speak highly enough of everyone at Greycliffe Manor. The staff are so welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble,
it's lovely to know that your loved ones are in such capable hands.

This residential home is simply amazing. I can't tell you how grateful we are to of found this home. We feel incredibly lucky to have experienced such a loving, friendly, and compassionate home. From the very moment my father walked through the door, I could see how clean it was. The staff were so friendly,
and they really went over and above. Even over time, that really shone through. The care for my dad made him feel so safe and truly cared for. From mY point of view, I could relax more knowing he was happy, safe and cared for. The staff are so friendly and will always communicate with you. After my father sadly passed away, I walked away with a friend or two from the staff. I am more than happy to carry on supporting Grecliffe Manor. It was my first experience with a residential home and was a bit sceptical after seeing things in the media, but we really had the best. Thank you, Greycliffe. You really are amazing. My mother had been referred to Greycliffe Manor following a stay in the hospital. During her two-month stay, she was looked after with care and compassion by every single member of staff. My mum was admitted to Greycliffe Manor in August to recuperate from a hospital stay. Her stay has been a positive one, the staff were brilliant with Mum and cared for her so well. I would highly recommend them in all aspects of care.

My father has been here since coming out of hospital. Also since being here my mother has passed away, the staff have been so caring and attentive to him over this sad time. Even when my father had Covid just before the funeral the staff looked after him so well he was Covid-free just before the day.
The home is such a lovely, warm and welcoming place for residents and family.

Great friendly place, always welcomed with a smile and a cuppa before Covid.

Lovely and homely. Great staff all very polite and helpful. Very clean and tidy and the food was very good. Activities looked fun and the grounds looked well kept too. Over the Covid period, the staff went above and beyond with all the residents and families.

Mother has been a resident at Greycliffe for the past 14 months and we say almost on a daily basis, how happy and grateful we are to have found such a perfect place to suit her needs. She is always praising the kindness of all the staff, her every need is cared for. We have been particularly impressed
with their dealings regarding the Covid-19 pandemic with staff and residents alike, all have been tested, and all remain clear. Lockdown was made well before the nation was ordered to do so. Thank you to all Greycliffe - staff and management.

My grandad moved into Greycliff Manor July 2019. Since being there my grandad has been so well looked after by all the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for the residents or the resident's family they truly make you feel welcome and keep you up to date of what is going on with your loved one. Since
the lockdown restrictions came in due to Covid-19 we have obviously been unable to see our grandad for a record amount of weeks but all I can say is I have nothing but praise for the staff with how they have dealt with this difficult time. They have kept the residents' spirits up and have totally taken over the care and companionship that residents would usually receive from family members also. They have put themselves on the front line to continue their very high standards of care that they give at one of the hardest times in everyone’s lives and I would just like to say a massive thank you from me and the rest of our family for the way you have taken care of my grandad.

I can't find the words to praise Greycliffe highly enough. My mother has been a resident since September 2018 when she settled in immediately thanks to the care and devotion of the most dedicated and caring staff I could have dared to wish for. She has such a lovely ensuite bedroom which is kept spotlessly
clean, she enjoys the most delicious food and the delightful communal areas are also so clean and comfortable. She enjoys the beautiful garden with large outdoor gazebo and the well organized daily activities but the most important thing for me as her daughter (who was heartbroken that I was no longer able to look after my dearest mother at home) is that I know that my mother is safe, cared for by dedicated and caring staff who keep me informed and more than that have become an extended family to us all. We are currently now in the Covid-19 lockdown and Greycliffe continue to make residents feel safe, protected, loved and connected with our families. Thank you all at Greycliffe.

I am more than happy that my sister is in Greycliffe. You don’t know how glad I am that I found you. I think you have got a terrific set up there. You get entertainers in on a regular basis to stimulate and amuse your clients. You organise garden activities when the weather is nice. You really do go
the extra mile. It is a lovely building - I get good vibes every time I enter. The staff are always friendly and helpful. And the building does not smell! How do you do it?

My mother was at Greycliffe on a short term basis before rehab. The staff are friendly and work well as a team. The home is spotless, food is wonderful and my mother was treated with dignity and respect at all times. The management team are efficient, knowledgeable and very supportive to residents
and family. I was allowed to take my dog for a visit too. The restaurant tables have flowers and there are various activities. Simply wonderful.

Having visited the home many times over the last 2 years, I have always found the staff very attentive of the residents who seem very happy at the home. A great atmosphere where everyone is made to feel included.

My father has been in Greycliffe Manor for a year this month. He is always singing the praises of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. They are very friendly and have ready smiles and always treat Dad with respect. He has settled in really well which means less worry for me as he is 96 years old
now.
