At Greycliffe Manor their main aim is to treat their residents as they would want their own mother or father to be treated. Their staff have been with the service for a long time and take pride on not just being professional carers but an extended family for all residents.

Greycliffe Manor is mainly a home for people living with moderate-needs dementia. The residents enjoy a friendly, happy, home-from-home atmosphere with professional and highly trained staff. The carers really get to know their residents well, learning each one's personal preferences and the things that make them unique.

Residents are encouraged to join in on the daily activities, eat well, sleep well and socialise. The home is very focused on helping its residents to recapture that sparkle for life. And as a smaller home, staff treat the residents as individuals and have time to pay attention to the little things.

Longer-term residential care and also day-care are available. In day-care, individuals may choose to join the home during the day but go back to their own home during the night. Shorter visits are also available (for example coming for a couple of hours to join for a cup of tea and a bath) and joining in activities with the home's friendly little family.

The home is proud to be a winner of the Top 20 Mid-Sized Care Home Group award, 2024 and 2025.

Having previously been in a different home where the care was good but the home very regimental, it was with trepidation I went to Greycliffe Manor, however, I no sooner stepped inside when the friendship and care oozed out. From then onwards I felt 'at home'. The staff worked as a team with excellent
leadership. I could not fault it in any way and if they have room I will definitely go back again for respite.

Mum went into Greycliffe Manor for a two-week break whilst I and my brother were abroad on holiday.
The staff were excellent with mum who was very confused and anxious. I kept in touch with the home regularly and was always given great assurance that mum was being cared for.

I became a temporary resident at Greycliffe Manor after breaking my ankle. The staff were welcoming and friendly, enabling me to settle in quickly. This care home is well equipped and comfortable. The food is good and tea and coffee is always available. If I or a relative needed to move to a care home
to live, this would be top of my list.

Greycliffe Manor is clean, friendly and welcoming. The staff are very professional and caring. The premises is nicely decorated and very homely. My father-in-law's needs are being met in an excellent manner. My father-in-law is happy and contented, has a newspaper delivered daily and has a lot of interaction
with the carers who pop in to chat with him. My wife, his daughter, brings in a stream of goodies I.e. Sweets, crisps, cake and he can keep this in his room for when he wants to eat them. He joins in in the entertainment that is provided. I think it is a lovely place to live in and am happy about it.

I have nothing but praise for the staff who run Greycliffe Manor. The carers are extremely kind, friendly and professional. My father has not got dementia and the carers often pop in to see dad for a chat which he thoroughly enjoys. He often enthusiastically tells me of all the "girls" who pop in daily!
Dad is kept meticulously clean and tidy, his room is tidy, clean and hygienic, he is well fed and appears to be very happy living at Greycliffe Manor. As his daughter, I have the utmost confidence in the staff and home, I rest easy knowing that his every need is catered for and he is well cared for. Lovely, lovely home- top class!

Mum has been at Greycliffe Manor for over two years and myself and all the family are so happy that she is at this very special home. We know that she is happy, warm, well fed, clean and very safe. Everyone treats both mum and all our family like old friends and we join in everything that is organised

If something doesn't suit me I tell the staff and they do something about it.
One of carers is excellent, she is taking me shopping next week.
I love the food - I asked for prawns and prawns were served the next day. We had a lovely Simnel cake for Easter.
