Thank you for your comments and raising your concerns. We have a continuous improvement plan for our lovely building and installation of suitable wetrooms are part of that plan. With the summer months and the nice weather approaching, we are looking at our activities and outings and welcome any suggestions you may have.
Thank you for your kind comments regarding our staff and the Home overall. Bottled water was brought in as a measure during some renovation works which are now completed, and as the quality of the tap water is good, we have reverted to using this. Treats and snacks are still available to Residents, we will make sure that we let the Residents know this is the case.

Home Manager at The Hyde, Bridport
What does ‘kindness’ mean to you?
“Empathy, dignity and wellbeing.”
As a dedicated healthcare professional, Rebecca has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Rebecca closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She decided to work in the care sector because, as a young child, she helped her grandmother care for children with learning difficulties; this gave her a passion to improve the lives of others.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Rebecca remarked:
“Working in an amazing team who are dedicated in providing the highest levels of care.”
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, including her sons, and she also enjoys travelling. She counts herself very lucky that she was able to go traveling to East Africa and worked in two orphanages and a maternity hospital.
