The Hyde Care Home

I am very pleased with the care my mother receives. The staff are caring, respectful, efficient and knowledgeable and fully understand the needs of my mother. The dedicated care has ensured that during her stay her health has been maintained, despite her severe dementia, lack of mobility and poor swallow reflect. It is reassuring to know she is so well provided for.

Staff are very caring and friendly to patients and entertain to keep up a friendly atmosphere.

The Hyde Care Home is an excellent, well-managed residential home. The staff are always kind and courteous. Nothing is too much trouble. Numerous activities keep the residents amused or entertained, happy and healthy as far as is possible given their advanced age. There can be no cause for concern on any aspect of the way in which the home is run by management.

A great happy, friendly and family-orientated place. It's the team there that really makes it. They take great care of everyone and treat everybody as an individual. My aunt has made great friends with many of the team there and that helps make it into a real home.

My mother has been a Resident at The Hyde for three and a half years and has been cared for very kindly and efficiently. All her medical needs are met, and communications with the home are informative and helpful. It is a pleasure to visit, the staff are cheerful and pleasant and the atmosphere is homely and contented. Like so many care homes, The Hyde has had its ups and downs as staffing levels fluctuate due to the pandemic and subsequent difficulties in recruitment, but under its new management, this appears to be smoothing out. The senior management team have worked very hard to keep standards of care high. I can recommend The Hyde to anyone seeking a placement for an elderly relative - a happy home in beautiful surroundings.

Just been to see my sister, so happy. We were given coffee and made so welcome. The staff give her lots of support as she's terrible with her legs and she is not so mobile now after breaking her hip. The activities they have are wonderful; just lately, they even wrapped in blankets stargazing and looking at the snow moon. My sister really enjoyed that. So overall, The Hyde, we give 100% and thank you.

Mum comes twice a week from 10-4pm. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly and Mum always has a huge smile when she sees them. She, unfortunately, can't remember much about her day but she is usually chatting and very animated when I pick her up. I am so pleased she has The Hyde to go to.

I would like to say that Hyde Care Home provide excellent service to the residents. Most importantly they consider their residents are one of their family members. Excellent surroundings and good atmosphere, very friendly staff, good facilities - like food, rooms services, conducting mind relaxing programs for the residents etc. Overall Hyde care home provides Excellent Care services.

My mother has been a resident in The Hyde for almost a year. The care she has received has been wonderful, and she has not always been easy to care for. The staff are incredible and have such patience and kindness. The staff are also very understanding of the worries of the relatives and are in constant communication. I cannot praise the home more.

This lovely care home is let down by the variety and quality of the food. Older people like basic, home cooking, not fancy multinational dishes. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Since my mother has been in The Hyde care home, she has done really well and it has made such a difference to her wellbeing. The staff are brilliant with her and really care and look after her. Kindness and respect shown to all - residents and visitors alike. The carers are creative and fun, changing the scenes in the living room/dining room to suit the seasonal events. Daily menu changes and residents can import their own wine - a useful tonic! In all - Bravo!

An amazing building and grounds which provided a very comfortable stay for my father at a difficult period. The staff were amazing as was the food and the facilities.

My grandfather loves his new home at the Hyde. He speaks very highly of all the staff here on all our visits. The staff are very well versed in Covid protections and always are accommodating of our visits, while prioritising safety.

Beautiful location and home. My father-in-law is quite pleased with the staff's care and food quality. He looks forward to more activities as covid-19 potentially subsides. I've never been inside Hyde House and thus cannot comment due to covid 19 restrictions.
