St Anne's Court

My sister has been a resident at St Anne's Court for four years. She's not the easiest person to get on with, but the staff and management handle her so well, and I'm very happy that she's in such competent care.

My grandma seems very happy staying there.

I have found St Anne's Court very supportive of settling my mum into the new home. My mum always seems happy when I visit her, and this is very reassuring for myself. The staff always seem to be polite and helpful.

My mother was moved here following the closure of her previous care home. I wish she had been here first. This is an amazing place. Sadly due to her health, she didn't get to leave her room much, but when she did, she enjoyed herself. She was so happy, and they cared for her so well until she sadly passed away in December 2021.

Super staff who are very attentive and caring to Dad's needs. Always positive and supportive. It is very evident that residents are well looked after and safe. Due to the pandemic, I have not really been able to review the activities, but look forward to taking an active role when things open up.

This has been a difficult time to have a relative in a care home, but even more so, needing to move them (after a bereavement of their wife) closer to their son. Dad-in-law settled in brilliantly, although the pandemic prevented contact, we were able to speak on the phone and face to face online. As soon as was possible, my husband and I were able to visit in person. Staff always have time to talk about what he has been up to. Sadly the pandemic has curtailed many activities, but he is encouraged to do his puzzles and enjoys bingo. Unable to see the room as moved under the pandemic protocol. Similarly, activities curtailed at present.

Clearly, it's very worrying times for anyone with links to a care home with the Covid-19 epidemic. My mum has been at St Anne's Court since she lost her mobility around 7-years ago. It's always been a great care home with extremely, kind and conscientious staff and a genuine 'Open Door Policy'. Even my children who were quite young when my mum first began living there and are now 13, are always happy to visit. Anyway, I just want to comment on how well the home is doing in these very difficult times. The manager there is fantastic and has gone out of her way to be in touch personally about my mum, even when she must be so busy. I don't want to tempt providence, but there's no infection there at the moment, we are all praying that it stays this way. Whatever happens, I thank all the excellent staff there, the lovely manager and the wonderful owner of St Anne's Court for providing my mum with brilliant care. She turns 90 in November, and my biggest wish is to celebrate this there.

The staff were attentive and efficient and guided by the managers who ensured that they carried out their care with loving hearts.

In the past, our 90-year-old friend has always refused to consider going into a care home. Unfortunately due to her lack of mobility within her own flat the doctors strongly recommended the need for 24-hour care. We agreed to place our friend in St Anne's court and was surprised at how quickly she has settled into her new surroundings. She finds the staff warm, helpful, gentle and compassionate. Her comments are always positive and she even asked how long she would be allowed to stay as she felt happy and contented there. This takes a lot of pressure and worry off my wife and myself.

Good food, fantastic activities. A real positive investment in its residents.

If you want a "really feel" family home for your loved one, then this is the place to go!

St Anne's Court provided 1st class care to our aunt and we would be happy to recommend them again. They showed care and compassion for our aunt throughout her stay.

My husband was a resident receiving end-of-life care at St Anne's Court recently. I cannot speak highly enough of the way he was cared for and the kindness shown to me and my family. The home is spotless and at all times my husband was treated with dignity and compassion.

I had a look at 5 or 6 care homes for my father and decided on St Anne's due to its friendly staff and secluded location. I'm so glad I did. Being small and very quiet, my father found the transition from his home to care home was seamless as he is so well looked after by all the staff. He loves the food so much that after 4 weeks, I have had to buy new trousers the next size up. Its a really lovely place and I wouldn't hesitate recommending St Anne's to anyone.

Staff have always been friendly, positive and polite whenever I have visited the home.

My mother-in-law has always been very independent still living on her own up to Dec 2017 but had a fall fracturing her knee. After Hospital and rehab, she went to live at St Anne's Court care home where the staff are absolutely amazing and look after her so well. We were worried about this big change in her life but she is very happy there. Alos celebrating her 95th Birthday and they helped to make her day very happy. They listen to her every need and the staff are all very kind and caring.

Management and staff are very caring and kind. The time is taken to get to know each resident so that individual care is specific. The home is immaculate in its communal areas and always full of flowers. A lovely garden with lovely views at the back from the sitting room. Having tried the food it is excellent offering many choices to suit the residents. A lovely elegant home.

She is well cared for and happy. I am so pleased we were recommended St Anne's and have peace of mind knowing she is in good hands.

I found St Anne's Court to be extremely welcoming and totally sympathetic to my mother's needs. I can't praise the staff enough they are not only caring they all do it with such a pleasant nature and a smile upon their faces. I am so pleased we chose St Anne's Court.
