Richmondwood

Richmondwood is an outstanding Care Home, professionally managed and beautifully kept. Family and friends are always welcome which is very much appreciated. The lovely gardens are well maintained and the food is freshly prepared. Above all, the care is excellent.

I discovered Richmondwood many years ago when my Mother was in need of a care home, she was well looked after for many years before sadly passing away. It was the first choice when looking for a home for my Aunt as she was unable to cope at home even with the help of 5 carers visiting every day. She was falling at home and ending up in hospital many times. After 5 falls in 4 months the medical team suggested a care home for constant assistance. Richmondwood is like a country hotel with every amenity you could need as an elderly frail person, the rooms are good, gorgeous gardens and conservatory and the food is all home cooked. The management and staff are absolutely first class, polite, respectful and caring and I cannot thank them enough for the care they give to my dear relative.. Highly recommended.

Mum has been resident in Richmondwood for approximately 18 months. Both Mum and I find the Management and their Staff friendly and obliging and I know my she is safe and content. Living in Australia, and only able visit for 1 month a year, it is important to me to feel confident that Mum is in good hands. The Home and grounds are very well kept as well as homely.

I have been very happy here. The staff are wonderful, and the people that own the home are lovely. I shall miss the care they provided. The food is great, I have been well looked after here. I will miss all the the carers, they are so good. They would do anything for you. I hope one day to come back, my family are very pleased too.
