Lilliput House is a care home that was personally recommended yo us snd we have not been disappointed. This Month especially the individual care given to my Mum and me as her daughter has been exceptional as we have had to deal with the stressful situation of the Council wanting to move Mum to a
different Home due to the Council now having to pay. Rosie has reassured my sister and me throughout the process and going out of her way to endure Mum can stay at Lilliput, which has now been achieved, something I am sure that would not have happened without Rosie's above and beyond intervention.
As Mum now has to move rooms, the whole staff team have been so supportive and even agreeing to do some physical changed to the room to make it suitable for her so hopefully the transition will not be too traumatic

Lilliput care home has a kind and caring team, the carers are always cheerful, they have a great relationship with the residents and catch any medical issues before it becomes a problem. The management team are available and offer advice from their vast experience which is helpful as a relative with
no experience of dementia. They also make sure the highest standard of care is provided, with daily activities and enrichment. The food is good, they adapt the menu to residents wishes and will always cook a favourite dish if required. I am able to visit whenever I want and often given a cup of tea if it's the end of my working day. They are kind, inclusive and adaptable, I'm grateful for their care.

My father has been a resident at Lilliput House Care Home since July 2024 when his care needs became more than my family or I could manage. We have been delighted with the level of care provided by all of the staff. Dad is treated with great compassion and he receives precisely the level of support
that he requires at the age of 90. He himself is full of praise and appreciation for the facilities in the home and the professional support of the staff. The total care package has allowed him to retain a great sense of dignity even now he is unable to take care of himself completely. My own dealings with the care home management and financial directors have been handled with great understanding and professionalism. I would highly recommend Lilliput House for any families with ageing relatives in the same position.

Our family is really happy with the care at Lilliput. Brenda is well looked after and has found a new positivity since moving in.
We couldn't be happier with our choice of care home and would highly recommend the facility to our extended family and friends.

My mother has lived at Lilliput House for over 4 years, during which time it has become her home where she feels safe and is cared for by staff that care about her as an individual person.
Communication with the management of the home is excellent, any queries or concerns I have are dealt with quickly
and efficiently and I receive an update to my query in a timely manner.
We have been through a challenging time over the last month and I am extremely grateful for the support and advice I have received from the manager of Lilliput House.

A lovely care home with a warm welcome every time you visit. My dad's needs have changed, as he needed a larger wheelchair. After discussing what would be suitable , then looking at the wheelchairs online ,by the next day my dad was sitting in his new wheelchair. How amazing is that ! The two managers
were really helpful. This experience was made easier as they knew what dad needed and it stopped me from visiting mobility shops with no idea at all!

My 103-year-old mother spent the last 5 months of her life at Lilliput House and I could not have wished for better care for her. The last two years have been extremely difficult owing to undiagnosed dementia as well as other health issues. It was such a relief to her family that she was able to end
her very long life in peace and comfort. All the staff were extremely caring, very helpful and welcoming.

My wife and I turned up and found everyone in the dining room with two girls singing Christmas songs and Carols. We were welcomed, chairs were provided for us, and we stayed about half an hour - while the resident's food and Christmas crackers were given out. We arranged with our friend to bring him
to our house for Christmas Day. We were very happy, and we thank you for letting us in, letting us stay, and letting us make Christmas arrangements with our friend. We were impressed by the quality of your care and kindness to us, who turned up "out of the blue" during a very busy time for you all when we could've hampered you in your lunch.

I had a very negative view of care homes due to a bad experience with my Mum but Lilliput House Care Home has been so good it’s made me feel completely different now.
From the first tour we have been amazed by the dedication of all of the team members to making the resident's lives the best that they
can be.
Every time we visit we are greeted with a smile and nothing is too much trouble.
My aunt was living on her own with carers visiting four times a day, but she was thin and disengaged and deteriorating rapidly. She has been at Lilliput for 8 months now and she looks fit and well both physically and mentally.
She loves the food that she gets and doesn’t want me to take her out for lunch because she will miss what is on offer and the home.
Every day there are activities taking place and the Coronation celebration to which we were all invited was extraordinary.
We can’t speak too highly of the home.

Lilliput House prioritises the physical, emotional and social needs of its residents and offers a safe, clean, happy and comfortable environment. The staff and management are amazing, kind, helpful and supportive. Every time I visit I am greeted with a warm welcome - whatever time of day. I feel very
fortunate to have found Lilliput House. If I am unable to visit for a few days, I don't worry about Mum as I know she's being looked after and made to feel special. I love Lilliput House and so does Mum! I would recommend t to anyone.

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.701)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.701) out of 10 for Lilliput House Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 12 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 12 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.901 for Lilliput House Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (127 Excellents x 5) + (14 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 141 Ratings = 4.901
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.8 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Lilliput House Care Home is based on 12 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.8
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 54 registered maximum number of service users is 10.8, which has been reached with 12 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
