My mother has been with Lilliput House for over a year now. The staff have been excellent.

Even though no one really wants to be in a care home, my mother is fully aware that she is better, safer and happier at the home than living alone, unable to cope.

For her family, we know that she is being

cared for, 24 hours a day.

Best place!
I visited Lilliput yesterday to say hello to my mother.
We sat in the garden and had a little chat.
She was telling me all about the care staff who look after her and who were now her friends.
This was so pleasing and I'm full of gratitude to every one of them who care for my mother.
Thank
you to all the care staff

After not visiting my aunt for nearly 16 months, it was really nice to see her again. She told me that she has really been enjoying the activities, and loves it when singers come in, which has been happening a lot. Lilliput House has been amazing at keeping us updated with pictures and news throughout
this difficult period. Thank you once again for all that you do.

All resident seem to be catered for in every aspect. There seems to be something going on in activities, which is sadly lacking from many homes. Lilliput House certainly is an excellent place for loved ones.

My mum was a resident for two years and in that time she got to think of Lilliput House as her home. She loved all the staff in her own way and they did everything for her. She could be stubborn, at times and they knew how to get around her and that showed. I got to know most of the staff and they would
go out of their way to help Mum and us, if they could. It is a loving and caring home. I will remember you all.

I am very pleased with the care and support my dad has been given. The work of staff during this pandemic has been excellent. He has become more engaged in activities. He is happy and the use of Facebook for pictures has been really good and communication with me has been good to keep us up to date
with Dad. All staff should take credit for what they have achieved in caring and keeping residents safe and secure during this time.
Reply from Kerry Mason, Registered Manager at Lilliput House Care HomeThank you for your kind words S M. Your dad is our eldest resident as you know and such a character. I was initially apprehensive at leaving Dad in a care home. The staff however were very welcoming, and the care he has received at Lilliput has been second to none. The activities are well arranged, the food tasty and plentiful, and the atmosphere around the home is very friendly.

The service and care at Lilliput House are outstanding. I cannot praise them enough. My mum was so well looked after and with such respect. I was dreading Mum having to go into a care home, but over the last 2 years Lilliput House completely changed all of my negative preconceptions. She lived to the
ripe old age of 102 years old.
Thank you to all of the amazing staff and especially to their exceptional manager.
I will be forever grateful.

My husband has been at Lilliput house since August 2019. It was a big step for him, but he was unable to cope on his own anymore. The activities, staff and care provided are way above all the other homes we visited in the area.
I would recommend this care home as being one of the best in the area.

Since first making contact with an enquiry for my elderly mum, we have had nothing but excellent service from everyone we have come into contact with from the Care Manager, office staff and of course the carers themselves. Unfortunately mum had a fall one night at home, which was when we decided it
would be best for her to move into a care home. Lilliput House have taken away a huge amount of stress from myself and my wife and we cannot thank you enough!

My mother came to Lilliput House after an injury and I had always hoped she would come home. She never came home, she stayed at Lilliput; Why? Because she loved living there. I think that says it all. We visited most days and were met with love, respect and support for my mum. My family and I love them.
Mum died yesterday, sadly and the whole team have been wonderful. I could go on but have run out of space. What an amazing place and team.

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.701)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.701) out of 10 for Lilliput House Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 12 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 12 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.901 for Lilliput House Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (127 Excellents x 5) + (14 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 141 Ratings = 4.901
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.8 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Lilliput House Care Home is based on 12 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.8
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 54 registered maximum number of service users is 10.8, which has been reached with 12 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
