Redlands Acre offers high-quality residential care and is situated on the outskirts of Gloucester.

Walk through from the hallway and you will find two comfy and cosy lounges as well as an attractive conservatory, which offers you a quiet and warm space from where you can enjoy views of the colourful gardens and visiting wildlife.

Summer months and the warmer weather gives you the chance to take part in BBQs and the many other events held outdoors, often with family and friends there to join you. There is a wide choice of fully furnished comfortable rooms, each of which has been individually and tastefully decorated; ready for you to make your own.

You are encouraged to bring those special personal items of furniture, treasured possessions and pictures to add to your room. The aim is for everyone to feel that they are living in their own home from home.

The staff are always welcoming and friendly. They have time for the residents to chat and joke.
My mother said on Mother's Day 'I love it here, it's my home', which is a great relief to family.

My father has been living at Redlands Acre for just over three years. He feels safe and comfortable and we have peace of mind. He enjoys the friendly, caring staff and it feels like home to him. Sadly, my dad has very little mobility and he is now dependent on the staff but they treat him with dignity
and that is very reassuring. I have a happy dad.

The ongoing care given to my aunt continues to be of the highest order, as it has been for the eight previous years. The professional and compassionate care given to my aunt and the contact I have with Redlands is a great comfort to me given that my home is nearly 100 miles away.

From the moment the door to the home gets answered it's always a warm welcome and shortly followed by being offered a tea or coffee! The staff do everything they can to make everyone feel welcome, always lots going on, witnessed "Musical Movement" and it looked great fun, if only I was older I could
have felt at home joining in.

I am a friend of a gentleman resident at Redlands Acre.
After trying to cope on his own, it was apparent he needed to be in a care home. Visiting him at Redlands, it is clear he's very happy here and the staff are always so lovely, not just to him but to myself every time I visit, it's very reassuring.

I came to the home for a fortnight for care after an operation. I have had good care and now feel well enough to look after myself at home. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and soon made me feel at home. I appreciated having a large airy room.

My mother required 24/7 respite in advance of a total hip replacement, following heart surgery.
As such, she required in total 9 weeks stay at Redlands Acre. She was is a high level of constant pain, as a consequence of a degraded hip which had completely failed, and was recovering from significant
heart surgery.
All of this not only demanded a high level of competence in relation to managing my mother's significant medication, but also a demonstration of the right levels of behavioural care and patience, and also occasional flexibility to assist in taking my mother to a number of hospital appointments.
Throughout her stay, the Management Team and supporting staff, performed at the highest standard, meeting all the above challenges, and exceeding both my expectations and those of my mother.
The ultimate proof of this is through the strong relationships formed between my mother and I and the fantastic staff. Whilst my mother is now home, we will be maintaining contact with the staff.

I am friend and attorney for a lady and gentleman resident.
My lady friend had several falls in her own home before moving to Redlands, so knowing she is safe and being constantly checked by lovely staff is comforting. She has regular conversation and is eating well.
My gentleman friend is much
happier and looks healthier having gained a little weight. He said to me 'I wish I'd moved in years ago'
