Overall as a family we are very happy wtih the care of our parent. Staff are friendly, helpful and pay attention to their needs. Sometimes messages get lost or don't filter through to the team on duty. Supervisors are professional & listen to family concerns. The care home manager is approachable & takes carers seriously & follow up with local GP services. The care home has much on offer for residents throughout the week. The food doesn't appear to be greatly nutritional, we understand preparing food in numbers & keeping it fresh is challenging.

I have experienced nearly two months of care to my husband in Southlawns. I have seen a big improvement in health and wellbeing, and excellent, friendly care throughout. He has settled in well and is happy with all services provided. Previously, he was not eating well and losing weight. The regular good food here has helped him put on weight. The staff are lovely and friendly, and the atmosphere throughout the home is great. I enjoy the experience on every visit. I'm very happy with the service.

The food is lovely, there is always plenty of choice. The home is clean and tidy. They provide a good range of activities and seeing the rabbit, birds and dogs is wonderful.

Everyone is so nice, smiley and nothing is too much trouble with a coffee way arranged for the family for Grandma's birthday being an example. Southlawns is situated in a quiet area of the town, but within easy access to the High Street, park and the now famous Clarks Village. Life at Southlawns is relaxed and informal with many activities and outings. Our aim is to offer support to enable you to maintain your independence, while always at hand when required.
