The care the whole staff showed to my mother-in-law was second to none. She was so well cared for always clean, tidy and well looked after. When she could she joined in the many activities enjoying trips and quizzes, flower arranging anything she could manage. The staff were attentive and it felt she
had found another family. As her life drew to a close staff sat with her keeping her company when family could not be with her a great comfort to us. A star in my opinion

Rowden House provided respite care for my mother when she came out of hospital. The staff were attentive and in the 2 weeks she stayed there, they encouraged her to join in with activities, and she became more mobile. All the staff we had dealings with were friendly helpful and supportive.

The manager accommodated my mum at very short notice and offered a compassionate and flexible approach. I found her honest and open approach comforting and this was a lifesaver as we navigated this whole new landscape at a very stressful time. Rowden seems a homely and peaceful place, the food is good
and the activities are outstanding. There is a diary of events published each month and they have helped inject some unanticipated fun, stimulation and entertainment into every day. All staff seem very competent and although we're all getting used to things and seeing how things work, I feel that Mum is in safe and caring hands. I can see that the grounds will be lovely now Spring is arriving - another bonus. Thank you to everyone.

My sister and I were both very unsure about where to place my mother (visited 3 care homes), but had visited a resident who was a friend of my mother at Calway and was recommended to us by a friend. Staff soon had us at ease and were very helpful during the process and we were soon sure we had chosen
well. Of course, we had to use my mothers savings and proceeds of her house sale to self fund, but we were adamant we wanted her to be safe and comfortable. Over 2.5 years, we had very few issues to raise, mum was very happy here. Management and staff were so kind and helpful and did all that we'd have wanted in ensuring mum stay was to all our wishes. Right up until mum passed away, we cannot thank them enough for all they did to ensure mum (and us) were very happy. Thank you

My father-in-law is currently on end of life in Lavender Court. The staff have been amazing. Can't do enough for my father-in-law. He's been treated with dignity and respect. They are also taking care of us. Always on hand to answer any questions or concerns we have. As a family it is a very difficult
time but it has been made so much easier here at Lavender Court. We can't thank them enough. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to place a loved one in a home.

From the moment my friend arrived at Wessex House until the moment he passed away the care he received was first class. But it was not just the care he received, as a friend I was welcomed with open arms too. Everyone without exception made me welcome.
The care and respect shown in his final days from
all staff was incredible.
Care Homes often get bad press, Wessex House exceeded all my expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a place of safety, comfort and care.

The staff at Frith House have been very helpful, attentive and most importantly caring. The team in the SRC, where mum was a resident for the last 20 months of her life, went beyond their duties to ensure mum was safe and comfortable.

My step Dad was rushed into respite care as my mum had a breakdown. He was well looked after with kindness and compassion. All of the staff have been amazing with him, always kind patient and professional. Moorhaven is set up so that it feels like an actual home environment in a series of small hubs.
He is now in the dementia unit which only has 8 bedrooms again centered around a living room/dining/kitchen area. There are really lovely outdoor areas and the dementia unit has large glass doors that look out into grass and trees which he can access. There are morning and afternoon activities, and often puzzles and games being played. Also really good food.

My Mother, who will be 106 years old in April 2026, has now been at Grovelands for over 2 years. All the staff take great care to ensure my Mother has the best life possible at her advanced years. The choice we made to settle her at Grovelands was an easy one having compared it with several others.
It has a friendly atmosphere, it's always spotlessly clean and all the staff are willing to help in any way. I am happy to recommend Grovelands to potential residents.

As I am a day care person I cannot comment on the rooms as I havn't seen them. All I can say is that the days I have been into Cooksons Court I have had no reason to think other than my ratings. From my first day I have been made to feel very welcome.

The staff listened and acted requests made by the family. The layout was very good: it was an easy walk and although the seating in the lounge was good for residents, it wasn't easy visitors to sit there with the resident. I think that staff in the lounge/diner shouldn't be on their phones as much as
they were but interacting with residents instead. I was generally very pleased with mum's care but there were times when communication between and management could've been better. However everyone reacted quickly when mum became ill, and a hospital bed was provided quickly too.

The staff are so welcoming, from arrival to the care of our family friend. They are respectful of her, care for her needs & are all so friendly. The food looks wholesome & delicious with consideration of the menus. My friends room is clean & homely. The overall atmosphere of the home is warm & friendly,

The care mum received in the 15 months she was a resident at Wyndham was excellent. All the staff were professional and caring. They treated mum with respect and dignity. She loved the activities and interacted with the staff. She really felt like she was at home, she had not been as happy in a long
time. Her partner died in the home in 2024, and they all helped her through her grief. We cannot thank everyone in the home enough for all their care and love. We would definitely recommend Wyndham House.
