Grovelands

We would recommend Grovelands to anyone who is looking for special care for their loved ones.

I attended an 80th tea party for my friend who is in the Dementia unit. The staff were amazing. They went way beyond their normal duties to make sure all 11 of us had a wonderful time. All members of staff were attentive to all our needs. I rate them the best staff in a care home that I have ever encountered. Thank you all so much.

My mum became a resident in Grovelands last year. We as a family feel it was the best choice we could have made. In July, my mum was 90. Grovelands went above and beyond to make mum's day special by putting on a cream tea for her and the staff were so attentive, as always. The food was delicious, presented beautifully and the table was decorated. Mum felt so important, which if course we think she is. Family and friends came, and more than one person said to me, "You certainly made a good choice for your mum, what a lovely home". We couldn't agree more! Thank you, Grovelands.

Grovelands is a lovely place & environment. All the staff are amazing - so friendly, helpful & professional. My dad really enjoys his respite stays there & all the staff always remember him & his name even though he is not a permanemt resident. Grovelands & the room my dad stays in is lovely - such a high standard.

I cannot fault anything the staff were brilliant, everything was spotless. If I had to go into a home this is my choice.

I was very impressed and very happy with everything. The staff were very caring and kind. I would recommend the home to anyone.

My mum was a resident here for four years and it was welcoming and friendly. All the staff encouraged and supported her as dementia and mobility loss took hold. I always found it to be a caring environment and had a homely feeling.

My husband spent 2 weeks with you for restbite and he really enjoyed it. All of the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. There was a good variety of food and drink, which he was encouraged to eat. I would be very happy if he could be here permanately.

My Mother, who will be 106 years old in April 2026, has now been at Grovelands for over 2 years. All the staff take great care to ensure my Mother has the best life possible at her advanced years. The choice we made to settle her at Grovelands was an easy one having compared it with several others. It has a friendly atmosphere, it's always spotlessly clean and all the staff are willing to help in any way. I am happy to recommend Grovelands to potential residents.

My husband has loved your care. He would not have lasted this long without the good care of the home and staff 3 1/2 years. They have looked after him and have been helpful to me.

This is a really nice care home, very well laid out and a pleasant atmosphere. I particularly like that they have varied activities to do and often do excursions. The staff are all very friendly & really good with the residents.

I'm delighted with my parents' experience at Grovelands. Right from our first visit, we felt very comfortable and welcome. They loved how large and comfortable their rooms were and, in particular, really appreciated the en-suite bathrooms. My parents still talk about how much they enjoyed the food at mealtimes and how nice they found the regular rounds of tea and biscuits. The icing on the cake, and a real credit to Grovelands, is the staff. My parents cannot praise them highly enough. I saw first-hand how deeply they care about their residents, at all times professional and yet with real empathy. Grovelands is easily my top choice for a care home for my parents.

My mum has been living in Grovelands for nearly two years. I cannot speak highly enough of the care she has received since moving there. The staff are all wonderful, kind and caring and they go above and beyond with all the activities they put on to keep the residents happy and engaged both mentally and physically. Grovelands is always clean and well maintained and I really don't think we could have found a better place for Mu to be at this stage in her life.
