Greville House is a lovely welcoming environment. Mum is very happy there and she is being very well looked after. The staff always make you feel welcome. The home is clean warm and has a lovely garden. We had noticed a marked improvement is Mum's health and state of mind since she moved to Greville
House. The food and activities are very good.

Every staff member is always happy and polite. They all care for my mum with compasion and dignity and everything they do is for all the residents. The activities, food, singers etc are always amazing. My mum is so so happy and thats all down to the care and love she gets everyday. Thank you.

Greville House is an outstanding residential home where the needs of the the residents are met to a high standard. The staff are friendly, kind and caring. My mother's care is amazing. Her room and surroundings are excellent and there is always something going on. This is a home from home. The chef

Well into second half of my first year. It is still home from home. The excellent staff work hard to provide and promote this atmosphere.
The communal dining is busy but calm and sometimes jovial. Food is wide range from Sunday roasts to egg and chips selected daily from a four week menu.all cooked
and served to personal choice. The gravy and various crumbles with custard are winners.
Housekeeping is done daily to a high standard almost behind the scenes. We share daily activities from eye/hand coordination games to quizzes with weekly invited special artists.
Nothing is too much trouble overalls one word "SPOILT"

My mothers overall care is outstanding nothing is too much for the staff. They have given fantastic support since her return from hospital in January. Facilities are excellent and the food is of very high quality. Her room is clean, tidy and well decorated. Bathroom/shower facilities very good. Always

Home from home looked after morn till night
Fed and watered regularly-and any time in between. Medication controlled and issued on time. Health and welfare are a top priority, nurse and doctor attend by request but at least weekly.
Nothing I have asked for has been refused everything is freely discussed
with both junior and senior staff everyone is approachable

I was so glad I found Greville House when I needed care for Dad. Dad was very independent before he had a fall in March 2024 leaving him needing respite 24-hour care. I looked at many care homes but Greville House had the right feel being homely and not too big. My meeting with the manager put my mind
at ease and left me confident Dad's needs would be met. During Dad's stay at times it was difficult as he really did not accept being in a care home setting, but realised he needed 24-hour care, especially help in the night. Dad got to know all the staff who have been so kind and caring, treating him with respect and dignity and doing their utmost for him. I do not believe Dad would have been in the position to have gone home without Greville House's care as his health conditions have improved. I am grateful to them for helping me work out a safe transfer home for Dad with a door open if it did not work. We know who to contact if residential care is needed again!

Greville House has a wonderful team of kind and thoughtful carers. My dad is slightly younger than most residents as he had early onset dementia and they are making so much effort to ensure he lives a happy and fulfilled life. He is able to continue doing his gardening and has lots of wonderful chats
with the staff about his past.
The environment feels very much like a home, not a care home and I am so grateful to all of the lovely people that work there for persevering and helping me sort out the care we need for him. From my perspective, Greville House is just the right size, to feel safe and comforting. There are lots of bigger care homes and for me, bigger locations can mean less meaningful interactions and relationships as you see more people and less of the same familiar faces. So all in all great work Greville House team keep doing what you are doing, I can't thank you enough.

Mum has been living at Greville House for just short of a year now.
In that time the carers have got to know Mum very well and seem genuinely fond of her. As Mum's health continues to deteriorate they are going out of their way to ensure her comfort, including cooking suitable meals to encourage her
to eat.
The residents really respond well to the staff and I've been present when they thank and praise their hard work.
The visiting District Nurse team also recognise what a superb residential home this is and has commented on how impressed they are with the level of support offered here.
It is the most distressing time once you've made the decision to place a loved one in a care home, the management team recognise this and offers support every step of the way.
Thank you to all those who clean Mum's room and help keep her plants alive, those who cook individual meals for her, care and sing with her and continue to keep her best interests at heart.

In all that time she has been treated with care, compassion and dignity.
No family wants their loved one to have to go into a home but the standard of care that my mother has received at Greville has eased our worry's.

I looked for an emergency placement for my aunt after a fall at home and hospital stay, this home is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are all lovely and welcoming, I felt at home immediately and knew my aunt would be happy and well cared for so had no hesitation in leaving her in there very capable
hands and she is settling well. And I am so relieved that she is cared for so well.
I actually love coming to visit her now and the worry and stress is now diminishing.

Lovely warm welcoming caring home residents all said hello.
Care manager must admit I give her 110 per cent she knows all her residents nothing is too much trouble and very caring understanding manager.

My mother stayed at Greville House for respite care and was looked after really well. The staff took great care of her. There are plenty of activities taking place, and the facilities are very good. I had peace of mind that she was safe during her stay.

Alexandra Aulton

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2018

Alex has been working for the company since 2018 at the sister care home (Homestead Care Home), overseeing Greville House compliance since 2022, and then joining the Greville House family as the manager in 2023. Alex has worked in the health and social care sector since 2008, gaining 17+ years of experience. All of Alex's experience is in elderly care, and her passion is around Dementia care. Alex has a vast knowledge of the CQC requirements and is passionate about her role within the company.

Kulvinder

Kulvinder Kaur

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2003

Kulvinder is an essential figure within Greville House. Kulvinder started as a care assistant back in 2003 and has worked her way up to the position of Deputy Manager in 2020.


Kulvinder knows all there is to know about our Greville house family and the house itself.


Being trained in all aspects of care and management, having her NVQ 2 and 3 in care and NVQ 3 and 5 in management, she is a real asset to Greville House with not only her vast knowledge but also her loving, selfless individuality.

Cora Bierwolf

Job Title: Team Leader Joined: 2012

Everyone needs a Cora! Cora is the glue of the care team here at Greville House.
Cora began her career here in 2012 and we have never looked back.
As a team leader Cora is responsible for the employees mandatory training, ensuring all is kept up to date and in accordance with the guidelines.
Cora is a fantastic carer with knowledge and compassion being the lady we all can call upon at any hour of any day without any hesitation.
Cora is trained in both her NVQ 2 and 3 in care and makes it her priority to know all that is needed to know with the ever changing care industry ensuring all staff have any and every training course available.

Laviza is a force to be reckoned with in the kitchen!


Laviza has been at Greville house since 2005 and keeps a well-run and organised kitchen - never failing to provide freshly prepared meals meeting and catering for all dietary and nutritional requirements.


laviza creates and produces an era of well balanced, fresh and nutritious meals and menu options for our residents and will even bake a fresh cake or 2 a day!


Laviza has a caring background and was just as much a fantastic care assistant as she is a chef!
Our food is definitely made with love and enjoyed thoroughly by all residents at Greville House.
