Greville House

Mom only lived at Greville House for 6 months as a step down from Nursing Care, which initially she found quite stressful, however she was made to feel very welcome, had the room of her choice, and quite quickly settled in and made friends and particularly enjoyed the activities. I can't praise highly enough the quality and caring nature of the staff. No problem was too big or too small.

My mother has been a resident of Greville House for 4 years. I am so pleased that she is there being wonderfully cared for by all the staff. The carers,well-led by the care manager, know the residents well and treat them with kindness and respect. There is a warm friendly welcoming atmosphere within the home. The carers and entertainment staff always make such an effort to celebrate residents' birthdays and all festive occasions.

Mum has some health problems, she is now 95, but I can't fault the management and staff at Greville. Mum is encouraged to be as independent as possible, and the staff are very alert to any change in mum's behaviour. We are kept well informed, and I feel so reassured knowing that mum is safe, well cared for and, most of all, happy. During lockdown, it has not been possible to visit, but prior to that mum always told me how happy she is there, and how the staff really care about them. They really do go above and beyond what I expected.

My mother was a resident for over 4 years and was extremely happy with all aspects of Greville House. My wife and I were secure in the knowledge that she was really well looked after and safe. Her physical well being improved and she flourished in every way. It has been a real home from home.

Lovely, caring staff. Residents are the main priority, and the staff always have a smile on their face. Mom is very happy in the 'home'.

The staff at Greville House take great care of my Grandma, and they provide an excellent quality of care and life for her. They go above and beyond to ensure my Grandma is comfortable and taken care of. There is a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere as you arrive. I would recommend this care home to anyone who was looking for one.

The staff are always very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. There is nothing to find fault with in any aspect of this care home.

I cannot praise Greville House and its staff enough.

From my initial enquiry to my aunt arriving at Greville House in extenuating circumstances, I have found all details very pleasing throughout. The friendly, frank, informative openness of the manager followed through with all the staff. The place is warm, clean and full of active communications with their residents. The rooms are all slightly different, as it is a building of character, and are ensuite for personal convenience with additional bathrooms for assisted bathing. The residents are encouraged to dine in the dining room at meal times thus promoting social interaction and exercise in addition to monitoring eating habits. There is a regular visiting hairdresser, chiropodist and registration with the local doctor's surgery. Everyone I have met has been caring and considerate of the smallest details. Definitely recommended!

I had to extract my mother from Spain in an emergency. Greville House was available at short notice. On arrival, the staff were faultless and soon had my mother treated, cleaned and fed. As the days progressed it became clear that this home is outstanding in every detail.

Greville house Staff treat my Grandmother as if she were in their own family, with love and kindness.

Home is fabulous, food fabulous, staff amazing. I can't speak too highly of Greville House. They have made my mother-in-laws last years a pleasure.

You are always greeted with a smile. The atmosphere, once in the home, feels relaxed and calm. The layout of the home is roomy and well organised giving a pleasant spacious ambience. The staff appear very attentive to the resident's needs and nothing seems too much trouble. Time is allowed for the individuality with both residents and their families. There is a diverse range of appropriate activities to engage and stimulate the participating residents. The preparation and quality of the food served to the resident is of a high standard.

Very happy to be here with staff who look after us very well. Looking forward to summer in the garden.

I am satisfied and I do not want to live anywhere else unless my health gets worse.

Greville House is a lovely homely caring place. Staff are approachable and helpful. My mum is treated with dignity and respect. Food is brilliant - especially the home-made cakes! Visitors always made welcome. I am delighted we found mum such a great place to live and she has settled in well.
