I have found the support, understanding and empathy in the care of my loved one has been most welcome on all occasions. The level of personal care is what I would expect for myself if I were a resident, the staff are attentive and focused even when under challenging circumstances.

Sadly mother was only there for two weeks. All the personal reviews were good and we were pleased that a place for mother was found. Mother settled in during her short stay, the home was well-run and certainly fulfilled our expectations. It is very sad that mother passed away before she could reap the
benefits that her stay, I'm sure, would have provided.

My mother was a resident at Greville House from May 2022 till October 2023. All the time she was there she was treated with care and dignity and was very settled.
As a family, we could not have asked for anything better for Mom and we always felt welcome by all the staff when we visited.

Placing Mum at Greville House has been a wholly positive experience from the outset. Having lived alone until 97 years of age, the decision to go into residential care was not easy. The staff at Greville House have been efficient, friendly, welcoming and reassuring, from management to carers. They have
ensured the transition has been a pleasant and trouble-free process, treating us as if we were family, which I suppose in a way we now are.

Greville House has proved to be an oasis of calm in a difficult period in our lives. The surroundings are comfortable and the staff are cheerful and friendly. The management are great at supporting and arranging hospital appointments and keeping the family informed on everything to do with Mum. Overall,

Mum has Alzheimer's dementia and went to Greville House as respite when we had to leave the country for a couple of weeks. We were nervous and she was nervous, but everyone is so welcoming and genuinely caring. The management couldn't do enough for Mum and she (although naturally anxious and frightened
due to her condition) seemed to make friends. In the end, she stayed for an extra week and began to settle. We are currently making arrangements for her to stay for another period, with a view to 24-hour care.

Greville House is a caring home. The staff are also caring about their clients. The home is always clean and the person we visit is always happy and talks well of the staff. The home's food always smells good when being cooked.

Mum has settled well at Greville House. The staff are very caring and friendly and have really got to know Mum. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. They always try their best to accommodate her needs and wishes.

Under very difficult circumstances the care my mother received at Greville House was outstanding! Nothing was ever too much trouble for them and they did their utmost to support her and her family at all times. The management is excellent and they kept us informed at all stages of my mom's care, clearly
explaining the decisions they were making. The carers also were fantastic and very patient with her. I would highly recommend anyone who has to place a relative in care to try Greville House!

I am very pleased with every aspect of my mum's care. Mum never wanted to go into care but she settled in very well and would never want to leave now. She trusts the staff and they give her everything she needs.

My Mom has complex eating issues, very unsteady on her legs and was very anxious plus very depressed after a stay in hospital in the middle of a pandemic. I contacted Greville care home as my aunties were residents and I wasn't sure they had any vacancies. The home were happy to take Mom at this time
for rehabilitation and respite in August 2020. In September my Mom became a permanent resident and is now very happy and her eating issues have eased and she is full of life. I am so pleased to see the improvements of my Mom's health and outlook on life in such a lovely friendly home.

Very homely environment like an old fashioned residential hotel. My mother likes the fact that it is ladies only. The staff are very caring and helpful. My only reservation would be that my mother doesn't find the activities very stimulating.

Words are barely enough to express how wonderful all Greville House staff are. Mum has been very poorly but the staff have welcomed her back from hospital and through their care and support she has made really good progress. She continues to need medical care from the district nursing team, but the
staff at Greville House do everything possible to make sure Mum is comfortable and looked after. I know Mum feels the same and she views GrevilleHouse as her home. We could not wish for better care for Mum. A huge thank you to the whole team.

My Godmother is extremely happy at Greville House. During this surreal time, life and routine is been kept safely and professionally. I had some lovely photos of my godmother having tea parties, ladies day etc, and she had a lovely birthday meal and tea party on her big day as we could not see her.
The
home is of modest size, homely, professionally run, nothing to much trouble for the staff, with high standards maintained.

My mom went to the home originally for 2 weeks whilst I went on holiday. Our family were very concerned about her living at home on her own even with carers and family caring for her we felt she was vulnerable. She enjoyed the company and the food, they looked after her medication and she seemed less
anxious and more relaxed. So, she decided to stay a little longer, she has been their 2 years now.
It was difficult at first she was obviously missing her home, we had tears but throughout all of the settling in period the staff and management were so supportive to my mom and reassuring to the family. She is now very content at Greville House, they maintain her personal standards she always has a clean room, clothes, and bed linen. She enjoys good food, there are activities every week and she is never lonely. I know that she is extremely well cared for. Throughout the Covid crisis, the staff and management have been amazing as always. I too feel like part of the family at Greville House.

Greville House had been my mothers "home" for the last three and a half years and she was extremely happy and contented there.
The staff are all exemplary with resident care their primary goal and they never failed my mother on any occasion!
Whenever we visited the house we were welcomed with open
arms and looked after extremely well.
We developed lovely relationships with many of the staff and we were all on a first-name basis.
Whilst it was always sad to say goodbye after a visit, we always knew that my mother was in the best of hands, cared for as though she was part of one big happy family.
The staff sincerely loved my mother and all of her little ways, just as any good family would do.
We have never regretted our decision for my mother to stay at Greville House and have no hesitation whatsoever to recommended it.
Just one final thank you from my family for the kindness and support that we received so freely from you throughout.

Mom only lived at Greville House for 6 months as a step down from Nursing Care, which initially she found quite stressful, however she was made to feel very welcome, had the room of her choice, and quite quickly settled in and made friends and particularly enjoyed the activities. I can't praise highly
enough the quality and caring nature of the staff. No problem was too big or too small.

Alexandra Aulton

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2018

Alex has been working for the company since 2018 at the sister care home (Homestead Care Home), overseeing Greville House compliance since 2022, and then joining the Greville House family as the manager in 2023. Alex has worked in the health and social care sector since 2008, gaining 17+ years of experience. All of Alex's experience is in elderly care, and her passion is around Dementia care. Alex has a vast knowledge of the CQC requirements and is passionate about her role within the company.

Kulvinder

Kulvinder Kaur

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2003

Kulvinder is an essential figure within Greville House. Kulvinder started as a care assistant back in 2003 and has worked her way up to the position of Deputy Manager in 2020.


Kulvinder knows all there is to know about our Greville house family and the house itself.


Being trained in all aspects of care and management, having her NVQ 2 and 3 in care and NVQ 3 and 5 in management, she is a real asset to Greville House with not only her vast knowledge but also her loving, selfless individuality.

Cora Bierwolf

Job Title: Team Leader Joined: 2012

Everyone needs a Cora! Cora is the glue of the care team here at Greville House.
Cora began her career here in 2012 and we have never looked back.
As a team leader Cora is responsible for the employees mandatory training, ensuring all is kept up to date and in accordance with the guidelines.
Cora is a fantastic carer with knowledge and compassion being the lady we all can call upon at any hour of any day without any hesitation.
Cora is trained in both her NVQ 2 and 3 in care and makes it her priority to know all that is needed to know with the ever changing care industry ensuring all staff have any and every training course available.

Laviza

Laviza Masih

Laviza is a force to be reckoned with in the kitchen!


Laviza has been at Greville house since 2005 and keeps a well-run and organised kitchen - never failing to provide freshly prepared meals meeting and catering for all dietary and nutritional requirements.


laviza creates and produces an era of well balanced, fresh and nutritious meals and menu options for our residents and will even bake a fresh cake or 2 a day!


Laviza has a caring background and was just as much a fantastic care assistant as she is a chef!
Our food is definitely made with love and enjoyed thoroughly by all residents at Greville House.


No expense is spared with our menus and only fresh produce is prepared by Laviza.
