We are very grateful for all the care and kindness shown to our 95-year-old mum on returning to Maple Dene after a 5-week stay in hospital with pneumonia. The staff team have been really professional in taking on board her mobility issues and welcoming her back to familiar surroundings. Thank you to everyone involved!

Maple Dene has been a very caring home for my mother. It's been great for her to have her own small flat, such a bonus for a care home. The staff have been kind, caring and friendly, frequently calling in to see Mom and giving her time. The home is well-run and any queries are dealt with promptly. My mom was content.

Maple Dene was a perfect last home for my mother-in-law. She was well looked after and anything that she needed was provided for her. The leadership and the staff in the home are to be congratulated on the way they delivered the service needed in an unhurried and empathetic manner, despite I'm sure being pressured

and very busy at times. I could not have asked for a better home for my mother-in-law to live in for the last years of her life. Thank you!

Mum has only been at Maple Dene for a few days and has settled in really well. The staff are very attentive and are really helpful when you arrive to visit. The admin team are very professional and prompt at answering queries. One lady particularly gave a good first impression. She was really knowledgeable when we looked around initially, and I liked the fact that she recalled my and Mum's names from a previous email even when we had turned up impromptu.

My partner went into Maple Dene for respite care and from my initial contact with the staff and throughout his two-week stay I was welcomed and felt included in his care by all the staff. They provided excellent person-centred care ensuring needs were identified and met wherever possible. The experience has reassured me about future care.

My father has been at Maple Dene for two years and has been exceptionally well looked after. His increasing frailty is managed with great care and compassion and every effort is made to involve him in activities. The staff like him and make a fuss about him and are genuinely caring. A wonderful home.

Recently the team at Maple Dene arranged a special outing for my mother. This meant so much to her and I know the carers will have had to make special arrangements as Mum needs a wheelchair now. Whenever I visit, the staff are polite and helpful and when Mum needs assistance they are gentle and patient. I can tell Mum is well cared for and the accommodation is kept clean. There are different activities every day throughout the week to keep residents busy and these are quite varied.

My Mum had been at the care home for a couple of years. Unfortunately, she recently passed away. The carers are wonderful and made her last few days as comfortable as anyone could ask for. They kept us informed of any changes, so that family were present when she slipped away. Thanks for all you did to make her last few years happy and content.

Mam moved in just over two years ago. She had struggled to cope in her own home for five years. Since being at Maple Dene, I have seen such an improvement in her mental health. Physically, she is slowing down but she is 86! She is happy and well cared for. The care staff all seem to know her and her quiet personality. A big thank you to all the care staff.

Maple Dene provides a warm and friendly home for my mum and other residents. The staff appear to be settled and to be very welcoming of visitors. They know the residents well and interact with them in a loving caring way. Management is good and staff including the managers are always aware and willing to discuss any issues that arise.

First class care for my mother, who since she was first admitted has improved her general health and wellbeing.
Whilst it was frustrating with the COVID visiting restrictions, it was understandable.

Staff have always been very approachable and helpful with mom's interests always first.

Very happy with the care received. Staff are always helpful and genuinely know mum's needs. Communication is very good. The pandemic meant we could not fully assess the home before mum moved in. I am pleased to say that we have no regrets.

My father has been a resident of Maple Dene for 18 months, so our whole experience has been during the pandemic. The first 6 months were incredibly tough as care homes had to follow very strict rules on visits. We got through it with the help of the staff and life is now immeasurably better. During this time all the staff in Maple Dene took exceptional care of my father and I am amazed at the love and support they provide every day. He looks better, is more active and is encouraged to join in activities. It is an agonising decision to move your relative into a care home, but I cannot think of a better place than Maple Dene.

Staff cared for my mum through thick and thin over a number of years. They were able to cope with her mood swings and changing needs as she became more frail. Ultimately, they supported her through a peaceful and loving end of life period and proved again what a great team they are. I highly recommend the home.

Maple Dene is, in my opinion, one of the best, if not the best which is why we chose this home when our elderly auntie needed residential care.
Care was delivered professionally, and in a kind manner by all the carers we came across. It was particularly hard during covid as we couldn't visit, but we knew she was in the right place, and the manager and her staff kept relatives up to date, firstly facilitating WhatsApp phone calls then visiting as soon as able to, within strict covid requirements.

Sadly, Auntie had a fall 6 weeks ago through no fault of Maple Dene and needs more specialist care than residential, so we have had to move her to a nursing home. We will miss everyone, and thank them for their love and care during the time she was there.

My mother has lived at Maple Dene for nearly 3 years and throughout that time I have been impressed with the standard of care and comfort she has received. Many of the staff have worked there for many years so know the residents well, which gives stability and familiarity to residents, particularly those like my mum who has dementia.
