I am really pleased with Warren Farm Lodge. My mother has been here for two years and can't say a bad word about it. I would highly recommend this care home, the staff are brilliant, the food is brilliant and so is everything else. My mom is very happy here.

My mom sadly passed today having spent the last 2 years of her life in Warren Farm lodge, we cannot thank the staff enough for the care she had at the home, and the happy times we had with her when we could visit. Always singing and smiling, loved her cups of coffee with plenty of sugar. My mom was 96 and did not die of Covid, just old age. 5 stars recommendation.

During the last 7 years in which my mother has been a resident at Warren Farm Lodge, she has received excellent care. As she has aged, her needs have become greater but have been accommodated. I am pleased a Welfare Assistant has been appointed to help organise activities and hope that this can be on a permanent basis, as carers are fully stretched. I feel staffing levels could be increased to prevent the use of agency workers.

Review from Janet J (Sister of Resident) published on 7 July 2020 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
I have had dealings with Warren Farm Lodge for over 20 years, it used to be a very good care home but in the last few years has gone downhill drastically.
The rooms and the home itself look very appealing but lately, I have found it is always short-staffed, the carers are lovely people but are constantly rushed with very little time.
The management is very cold and uncaring and shows no compassion to residents at all.
Constantly had to check if my sister had been bathed and usually told of course yes but on checking actual records (each resident has a logbook) this was proved untrue, she would often go five to six days without being bathed and in my opinion unacceptable when incontinent and wearing pads.
After a fall and while still in hospital, management sent a notice to vacate with no explanation why or offer of any help in looking for somewhere else, theoretically making an old and vulnerable person homeless.
No trips out for several years.

Not a caring establishment.

Thank you for taking the time to review Warren Farm Lodge. We are sorry that you have concerns regarding the care that your sister received and we have responded to you regarding these. We were no longer able to meet your sister’s care needs and felt these would be better managed within a nursing...

An excellent home, caring and positive.

My partner is very happy at Warren Farm, but because of ill-health, we may have to move, and that will be very sad.

Since my father was admitted to the Warren Farm Lodge on 7 February. I have been most impressed by courteous staff - always smiling and all very smartly dressed. All knew very quickly who my dad was. They have been most helpful from manager to maintenance staff and care staff. Would definitely recommend this 'home from home'. Lovely happy environment.

Very happy with the care mum receives. This is a lovely care home with wonderful, supportive staff who always make time to say hello and chat. The food is excellent. I have stayed for lunch several times and am always made very welcome. The overall standard of cleanliness is very good and mum's health and well-being have improved since moving here.

It was a worrying time when searching for a care home for mum in January 2017 - but I chose Warren Farm Lodge as it seemed to be friendly and clean (Mum has Alzheimer's and it wasn't safe for her to live alone anymore).
Best decision I ever made - they have exceeded my expectations (8 months later)!! The care Mum receives is wonderful, and she is always happy with the care/guidance she receives.

I can't praise the staff enough, they are so cheerful, helpful and friendly - really kind.

The care provided be all of the staff is both kind and efficient.
The management and staff take the time to really get to know and respect every person in their care which ensures a lovely, warm atmosphere and are always approachable to discuss mum's ongoing needs.
The resident's flats are comfortable and spotlessly clean and each resident is allocated a "key worker" to ensure their individual, personal needs are met.
The hard work of the activities coordinator also provides daily activities and regular singers/shows for everyone to enjoy.

All-in-all, we couldn't wish for a better home for mum.
