Compton Manor is not just another care home in Coventry. Under new management since September 2023, the home is embedded with the belief of truly caring about all residents. The ethos is a simple one, "Treat every resident as if they are your own grandparents" every member of the team is instilled with this ethos when joining the home.

The residents' home is continuously undergoing refurbishments to meet the needs of all resident adults aged 18 and over. They are very particular to meet every resident's personal care needs including requiring one-to-one support from a skilled carer. Residents have the benefit of 24-hour on-site staff for safety and security, as well as support and companionship. The team of carers play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of the residents they serve.

The home offers a varied activities programme, such as games, exercise classes, quizzes, arts and crafts and gardening in the more warmer months to keep residents interested and entertained.

Staff are dedicated to making sure that residents receive nothing but the best care inside and out. They provide a personalised experience for every person who steps through the doors. Residents do not live in the team's workplace, the team works in the residents' home.

The improvements in the home have been incredible. The residents have a great quality of life and clearly enjoy their time here. It gives us families such peace of mind knowing they are safe and loved here. The staff treat them like family and the management genuinely care which is lovely to see.

My mother has been at Compton Manor for almost three years. She is happy here and says the staff are caring and kind. She likes and is satisfied with the food. The staff are courteous to my wife and myself and there is no restriction on us visiting my mum.
The new owners seem to be putting an increased
level of care towards the residents.

Since new owners took over, the home has improved and is going from strength to strength. My husband is happy to be home. He likes talking and joking with staff. He is looked after very well so I don't need to worry. He looks forward to meals and orders them. He loved the Christmas panto and disco.
I'm pleased they're looking after his mental well-being as well as his physical needs.

There have been massive improvements to the home since the new owners took over. the home itself has had a makeover, the carers and residents both seem happier. It's like everyone is one big family and the owners definitely internalise this view. They treat every resident like their own family!

Dad is treated well, he is happy being here and is often having a joke with staff. A lot of new changes have happened, with panto and music events. Things that mentally help enrich life here. The staff are lovely and care well for residents here. They decorated the place for Christmas and did well to
bring Christmas spirit to everyone. The food they give is good and I'm often told has lovely dinner.

I am so impressed with the recent transformation of my auntie's home. This home has been under some serious change since the new owners have taken over, it was so old-looking it’s nice to see some colour put into the home. The residents are so happy when I walk by always smiling or doing some sort of
exercise activity. Nice place and looking forward to seeing what else they do. They cook fresh food every day it’s like being in an Indian restaurant for the residents.

On the whole, there has been an improvement since there were new management/owners. Mum has dementia, so knows no different, but we do. Her room is comfortable, but very dated. Laundry need to put clothes in the right rooms. The smell of urine needs addressing.

Fantastic care home. Great care given to Mum. When visiting today (19th December) they were having a fitness class. Since the new owners took over, the residents have had more activities and engagement. Mum always has more to say when I visit. I feel the new owners have given her a new lease of life.

My sister, who has a number of care needs, moved into Compton Manor in February 2023. Initially, I was concerned due to the rather dated and shabby presentation of the building. However, since the new owners have taken over I have been impressed by the changes and improvements they have achieved.
Not
only are the physical conditions improving, through replacing old and worn furniture and decorating room by room, more importantly the residents care needs are being met more appropriately. My sister is now involved in a number of activities and entertainment, which she loves. The staff are caring and responsive and work in partnership with relatives as well as the residents to meet need.
I could not be happier with my sister's care and feel so much pressure has been taken from me as I trust the carers. Many thanks to all at Compton Manor.

Since the new providers have taken over the home there is a big difference. The look and feel of the home and the decoration it feels homely and warm. The care is fantastic, the staff are lovely and joyful, I get on with them all. They are always happy to see me and are very good with my friend and
always do what you ask straight away. Pleasant and understanding. It's definitely a 5-star home now.
