Pelsall Hall

My sister and I did alot of scan searching to finally conclude our Mam was too vulnerable to live alone; she had a diagnosis of mixed dementia, and over New Year, had become quite unwell, landing to a long hospital stay. We then began our sech for a suitable care home that we felt would meet the needs of our Mam. We choose Pelsall Hall as it ticked every box ie, clean, fresh, lovely rooms and gardens, but more importantly, the welcoming and caring feel we felt from the beginning. Mam is happy here and well looked after.

My mom came to Pelsall Hall in March this year. I can't speak highly enough about this lovely home and the dedicated, kind, caring and extremely hardworking staff. My mom has thrived and, most importantly, happy. She loves the food. The rooms are spacious, and the home is immaculately clean. My sister and I looked at a number of homes for Mom, and within five minutes of walking through the doors, we knew this was the one.

We are very pleased with the care our brother has received since he has been in Pelsall Hall. The staff are second to none. The place is clean, all the staff are pleasant. We would recommend it to anyone.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the management care workers and cleaners at Pelsall Hall. I recently had to move my parents from a care home they were settled in as it was closing. This was a stressful time for both them and myself. They have different care needs and were both extremely anxious about moving. All the staff at Pelsall Hall have treated them with understanding and kindness. All the staff are friendly and approachable and my parents are now settled and happy. I would strongly recommend Pelsall Hall.

The family chose the care home because another relative had stayed here on an earlier occasion. Her stay was comfortable and she enjoyed the time there. Since my aunt has been in residence, she has been extremely happy. We cannot praise the staff enough for their care and attitude towards our aunt's comfort.

Most of the staff were very kind and showed empathy. Unfortunately one or two let the side down. With an attitude and lack of compassion. During the 48 hours of my nan's death, we were extremely let down by the home. My nan suffered when it could have been prevented. It is still very painful when I think about my nans final days and hours. Before this tragic event, I would of recommended Pelsall Hall. But no more!

My aunt has been in Pelsall Hall following a diagnosis of dementia, and she was unable to be at home as she lived alone. Since being in Pelsall Hall, she has improved in confidence; she responds to the love and care she receives. She is now safe and well cared for, freeing my time with her to be happy and enjoyable. As family members, we have been made welcome, and during what has been a hard time for care home staff, time has been made to reassure us and help through the process of placing a loved one in this setting. Excellent.

It was a difficult decision to look for a care home for dad as he had lived with me for 6 years since losing mum, but I was starting to struggle. My son found Pelsall Hall, and all stresses and worries have been removed from me. From the start, everyone has been pleasant, reassuring, and professional. Dad has been here now for 7 weeks. He has settled really well and we are both very impressed with the standard of care and the cleanliness, not to mention he raves about the food! I needn’t have worried. Everyone is so friendly and caring. At the age of 93 dad has now new friends and a new lease of life. Thank you, everyone.

Right from the initial contact with Prelsall Hall, we were dealt with in a very professional and friendly manner. Our sister-in-law was made very welcome and she quickly settled down in the home very quickly. She remained happy and contented throughout the stay with the home and this greatly aided her recovery.

I have been extremely pleased with the care my mother has received since January 2021. All the staff have been experts in their field, putting myself and my family at ease at this time. Not being able to visit Mom was difficult as I cared for her for many years, but with video calls and phone calls, we got through. Well done, Pelsall Hall.

My dad died just over two years ago aged 93, although this was terribly traumatic for all the family it now also meant my mom would be left on her own after 65 years of marriage, she was lucky to still have good health and a strong mind and with a lot of support from the family she was coping quite well, as the time went by we could see a slow but concerning reduction in both her mental and physical abilities, in 18 months we had gone from visiting once a day to three times a day and realised we could no longer provide the level of care she needed, we looked at lots of options but was lucky to find Pelsall Hall on the doorstep, after a number of virtual meetings and phone conversations we were convinced this was the perfect place for mom, she settled in very quickly and we have seen a steady improvement in both her mental and physical abilities, we can’t praise all the staff enough as they have worked tirelessly to ensure mom is now receiving the level of care she now needs and deserves.

I have always found the staff and management very approachable, helpful and friendly and would certainly recommend the home.

I chose this care home as I researched and found it the best in the area local to the family. The staff are wonderful, caring and professional. My mother is content and takes part in activities when she can. The rooms are kept clean and tidy. The food is most acceptable. The response to covid has been extremely good. We have always felt welcome by management and staff.

My aunt has only been with Greensleeves for a short time initially for respite care and due to the Coronavirus situation we have very restricted access to the inside of the home, but with staff etc that we have had contact with it seems that we have chosen an excellent care home long term.

Thank you so very much for all you have done. We feel like our mum has come back to us!

I would recommend Pelsall Hall and am glad that dad spent his final years amongst friends in a safe and comfortable environment where relatives and visitors were always welcomed.

Staff at Pelsall hall reversed some of my father's poor sleeping habits, rehabilitated him and gave him his dignity back. They gave me my father back. Thank you.

My mum has been in Pelsall Hall since 2005, after the care she has received, I can only say how fortunate I am to say a Big Thank You to all the staff for looking after her. Mum has dementia and I can appreciate how difficult it must be to look after her everyday needs. She will not get better, it's an awful disease that affects so many people. Thank you for all that you do.

The whole home, gardens, kitchen and offices are highly commendable. My cousin came into Pelsall Hall directly from hospital and not in the greatest condition. But the care, attention and help she has received have been first class. She is a lively active lady and loving life at Pelsall Hall.
