Pelsall Hall

The love and care of all the staff and all they do for me is excellent. I am enjoying my stay here.

Both my parents lived at Pelsall Hall from May 2013. My Dad died during November 2017 and my Mum during August 2018. Pelsall Hall administered end of life care to both of them (Dad aged 98 and Mum aged 90 who suffered from Dementia). I have written personally to Pelsall Hall to thank them for looking after my parents in an exemplary fashion since 2013. Management and staff at this care home are exceptional. I recommend the home. It was recommended to me by my neighbour, a doctor (now deceased) who had a friend as a resident at the home. I cannot thank all at Pelsall Hall enough. They made my parent's lives worth living. I know both of them would agree. My Dad told me he thought they were very fortunate that my wife and I had found Pelsall Hall for them. Prior to moving to Pelsall Hall, my parents lived in their own bungalow in North Wales. Social Services said they could no longer look after themselves following falls and hospital admittance. They were self-funding.

12 months ago I would have given a different review. The past 12 months I have seen considerable improvements that the new manager has introduced. The residents seem to be happier and are involved in entertainment, games etc keeping them active.

I am very pleased with the care in Pelsall Hall. Staff and management have been very helpful.

On top of the above, activities are wonderful. Fun days out, part days in so I cannot speak highly enough of Pelsall Hall. We are also made very welcome.

When my father passed away, Pelsall Hall was highly recommended to myself and family, as my mother was unable to stay in her home. It has met and exceeded all our expectations. It has a lovely, friendly, welcoming feel. All staff always acknowledge everyone and encourage the residents to socialise and also be as independent as possible. The care is exceptional and there are always activities and parties planned which all residents seem to enjoy immensely. Staff and management are so supportive and I would not hesitate to recommend Pelsall Hall to others.

We find this a very good care home with very caring staff. Food is very good and we are very satisfied.

Very good experience for my fahter in law. He spent 12 months at Pelsall and had fond memories with every one. Thanks to the Manager and all the staff. Wonderful caring people.

I have visited my partner at Pelsall Hall several times a week for the last 5 years. I have always found the caring attitude of the staff to be exemplary and unwavering. The homely and friendly atmosphere is immediately apparent. It is very reassuring to know that one's loved one is in safe hands. Keep up the good work.

There were good layouts in the communal areas so residents could interact with each other.

Lovely clean home, food choice good. Caring staff who work extremely hard, at times there could do with more staff. Pelsall Hall is safe and secure and residents are treated with dignity and care. The permeant staff really know their residents and how to meet their needs.

My mother has become a recent resident at Pelsall Hall. I cannot speak highly enough of the outstanding care and kindness that she has been shown at this time. From the management team through to all the staff my family has been treated with great respect and compassion. The care that my mother has received has been exceptional and delivered in a completely profession and caring way. The Home itself is clean and well presented and I am delighted with the standard of my mother's room. My mother has settled well and this is a tribute to the attention of the staff.

My Aunty was admitted to Pelsall Hall in May 2010. Sadly she passed away in April this year. During her stay at Pelsall Hall she was made most comfortable. The staff were extremely kind and friendly, not only to her but also to ourselves. She was always well looked after to the highest standard. We had no reservations that her needs were well attended to and I will always be forever grateful.

Pelsall Hall is a wonderful, caring and very homely place. From our first initial contact with Pelsall Hall just over 2 years ago, we knew this was the best place our mom could be. We have experienced lots of happy moments at the home with mom- there is always lots of family events going on. I.e. Christmas shows, singers, animal visits, musical events, summer fair and bonfire night display. Everyone is always welcome. The care mom receives is fantastic and the attention shown by the staff to mom and all the other residents is genuine and comforting to see. After a spell in hospital in January 2016 we were so glad to be able to bring mom back home to Pelsall Hall where we know she is safe and well looked after.

Pelsall Hall is to sum up in one word is "Brilliant" my father came here nine weeks ago. It is a great relief to know my father is here knowing, how well he is here. The home is spotless, the food great, great room always clean and tidy. When I see dad, he seems to improve on every visit looking calm and relaxed. He is very well groomed and looks great! I think it is very important to know how good the staff are here, very kind, caring and helpful. As a family and on behalf of my dad "Thank you".
