Both my parents lived at Pelsall Hall from May 2013. My Dad died during November 2017 and my Mum during August 2018. Pelsall Hall administered end of life care to both of them (Dad aged 98 and Mum aged 90 who suffered from Dementia). I have written personally to Pelsall Hall to thank them for looking after my parents in an exemplary fashion since 2013. Management and staff at this care home are exceptional. I recommend the home. It was recommended to me by my neighbour, a doctor (now deceased) who had a friend as a resident at the home. I cannot thank all at Pelsall Hall enough. They made my parent's lives worth living. I know both of them would agree. My Dad told me he thought they were very fortunate that my wife and I had found Pelsall Hall for them. Prior to moving to Pelsall Hall, my parents lived in their own bungalow in North Wales. Social Services said they could no longer look after themselves following falls and hospital admittance. They were self-funding.

12 months ago I would have given a different review. The past 12 months I have seen considerable improvements that the new manager has introduced. The residents seem to be happier and are involved in entertainment, games etc keeping them active.

Pelsall Hall is more than what we could have wished for. My mom is in a state of the art room is cared for amazingly well food is of a top standard as are all the people who work here.

On top of the above, activities are wonderful. Fun days out, part days in so I cannot speak highly enough of Pelsall Hall. We are also made very welcome.

When my father passed away, Pelsall Hall was highly recommended to myself and family, as my mother was unable to stay in her home. It has met and exceeded all our expectations. It has a lovely, friendly, welcoming feel. All staff always acknowledge everyone and encourage the residents to socialise and also be as independent as possible. The care is exceptional and there are always activities and parties planned which all residents seem to enjoy immensely. Staff and management are so supportive and I would not hesitate to recommend Pelsall Hall to others.

The resident has spent over two and a half years at Pelsall Hall and I have been so pleased with her care.
It has been compassionate, professional and they have cared for her every need.
Her end of life care was excellent and I knew she was in safe hands.
They not only provided personal care but signposted to GP/District Nurses as necessary.

Would highly recommend to other potential residents.

The homely and friendly atmosphere is immediately apparent. It is very reassuring to know that one's loved one is in safe hands. Keep up the good work.

The staff were always pleasant and helpful, nothing seemed to be too much trouble and they worked well in their teams regardless of which members of staff were on duty at any one time. As a daily visitor, I did not leave my own home wondering what to expect on arrival at Pelsall Hall and did not have concerns or worries on departing at the end of my stay.

I was extremely pleased with the standard of care and attention that my wife received at Pelsall Hall and has done since her admission almost a year ago and I have no hesitation in recommending this home to anyone in need of social care.

A friend of mine had been at Pelsall Hall for several years but recently passed away - I just wanted to say how grateful I was that he was cared for with the utmost dignity and respect right up to the last minute.
Staff could not have made his last years any happier and it was clear that he was 'loved'
Management and staff are second to none and I will always remember Pelsall Hall as an excellent place, managed by real professionals who make it clear that residents are the priority - Staff extremely caring and nothing is too much trouble
The environment is like a 5* hotel, beautiful bedrooms etc.

I would recommend anyone looking for a care home visit Pelsall Hall.

We visited the home and from the minute we walked in, we could tell how good it was going to be. The feelings we had were:
Staff were friendly, kind and helpful. So clean. Felt like we were entering a quality hotel on holiday. The Manager was so supportive and informative. Such a warm, friendly feeling about the place. My uncle is so excited about living here.

There were good layouts in the communal areas so residents could interact with each other.

My mother has become a recent resident at Pelsall Hall. I cannot speak highly enough of the outstanding care and kindness that she has been shown at this time. From the management team through to all the staff my family has been treated with great respect and compassion. The care that my mother has received has been exceptional and delivered in a completely profession and caring way. The Home itself is clean and well presented and I am delighted with the standard of my mother's room. My mother has settled well and this is a tribute to the attention of the staff.

I would unhesitatingly recommend Pelsall Hall.

My Aunty was admitted to Pelsall Hall in May 2010. Sadly she passed away in April this year. During her stay at Pelsall Hall she was made most comfortable. The staff were extremely kind and friendly, not only to her but also to ourselves. She was always well looked after to the highest standard. We had no reservations that her needs were well attended to and I will always be forever grateful.

Pelsall Hall is a wonderful, caring and very homely place. From our first initial contact with Pelsall Hall just over 2 years ago, we knew this was the best place our mom could be. We have experienced lots of happy moments at the home with mom- there is always lots of family events going on. I.e. Christmas shows, singers, animal visits, musical events, summer fair and bonfire night display. Everyone is always welcome. The care mom receives is fantastic and the attention shown by the staff to mom and all the other residents is genuine and comforting to see. After a spell in hospital in January 2016 we were so glad to be able to bring mom back home to Pelsall Hall where we know she is safe and well looked after.

Pelsall Hall is to sum up in one word is "Brilliant" my father came here nine weeks ago. It is a great relief to know my father is here knowing, how well he is here. The home is spotless, the food great, great room always clean and tidy. When I see dad, he seems to improve on every visit looking calm and relaxed. He is very well groomed and looks great! I think it is very important to know how good the staff are here, very kind, caring and helpful. As a family and on behalf of my dad "Thank you".

Hello my name is Wendy Clifton and I am Home Manager at Pelsall Hall.

I aim to provide whole-person care by addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our residents. I have been in care for over 35 years. I joined Pelsall Hall as a Care Supervisor and have never looked back. Now, as Deputy Manager, I support Wendy to ensure the home is a great place for residents and staff. What I love the most about my job is that I am not part of a single team but support everyone to ensure everything is in place to help residents thrive. The best part of my role is helping residents have a meaningful and fulfilling life for as long as they're with us, including at the very end. Seeing residents happy and families feeling truly supported throughout makes everything worthwhile.

I have worked in care for over 20 years and I find putting a smile on our resident’s faces and giving the best care possible very rewarding. It’s important for residents to feel included and assisted to make their own choices. When I am not working my hobbies include baking & decorating cakes, seeing my family and looking after my pets.

I have worked for Greensleeves Care for 9 years and really enjoy my role. It’s a varied and sometimes demanding job dealing with staffing, purchasing and residents. It gives me the opportunity to chat residents and get to know their families a little. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my shih tzu named Lilly who tries to keep me fit.

I joined in the summer of 2025, straight after sixth form. I really wanted to get into care as I wanted to make a real difference to families, helping them know their loved ones are safe. We do all sorts of activities, from colouring to karaoke! There is a real range, and we also enjoy outings. This place has made a lasting impression on me, and I am looking forward to continuing to support our residents.

I love my role as a Senior. I joined the home as a carer in 2021 and became a senior a couple of years later. I studied Level 3 in college and joined the community care team before coming to Pelsall Hall. My absolutely favourite part of the role is supporting our residents - catering to their different needs and personalities. It is like a massive family here - everyone gets along and there is a huge amount of respect. It is just a lovely place to live and work!

I started at Pelsall Hall in 2023 - my first job as a carer. I moved into care after working as a chef and deciding I wanted to get a bit more satisfaction from my working life. The best part of being at Pelsall Hall has to be the interaction with the residents - getting to know them, sharing a chat, a joke or a game. Being a male carer is a bit unusual, but it doesn't bother me at all - we all get along really well.

Paul Millington

I joined Pelsall Hall in 2007 - my first role in care after being a painter and decorator all my life. We do a bit of everything - decorating, repairs, changing bulbs, testing temperature or putting pictures up for residents. There's always something new to be done, and whatever needs doing, I get it done!
