Inspirations Care Home

Over the last "Covid year", Inspirations Care Home has kept us up to date with all the necessary procedures to protect residents, staff and volunteers. The care home has been proactive in ensuring we as a family have had contact with Mum with a range of interventions, culminating in a face to face visit last month. There is a very good activity programme connected to residents' interests and birthdays, as well as one-one sessions based on individual needs. All well publicised on social media with great photos. Staff have done a great job. Thank you.

During the 10-years my aunt was at Inspirations, she was loved and cared for by excellent management and staff. Nothing was too much trouble, and she was really happy there. During covid restrictions, we were in regular contact, and my aunt was kept safe and well. Garden visits after an easing of rules were professionally managed and organised. I feel so grateful we chose Inspirations. She was truly 'at home' protected and safe in a friendly, warm, family atmosphere. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this wonderful care home. I visited many care homes, but on arriving at Inspirations, I knew my sister would be happy and content in her new home. The care and devotion given to her always showed in her face; she was always smiling. Management kept me informed if she was taken poorly, and the doctor was consulted. I loved my visit, which was often. She was here 10-years, she loved her meals, which proved to me she was well cared for. It was a big worry off my mind, I wish to thank everyone at Inspirations for everything they did for my sister. God Bless you all.

Inspirations from day one have been very good and diligent in the care of my mother. A small number of patients lends itself to a total caring one to one service, warmth and a general feeling of really looking out for individuals. The staff are excellent, very personal, showing immense patience and care for my mother and the rest of the patients. They update on all home events and medical care for my mother. In this sad Covid-19 time, they keep us up to date with all issues. Excellent care home!

Our mother was admitted to Inspirations just before the lockdown for COVID-19 and the care and precautions taken by the staff were a credit to them. It was hard not to see her for such a long period of time but her condition greatly improved whilst at Inspirations. I would recommend this home to anybody in need of elderly care.

The team at Inspirations took my Mum in at a very difficult time following a short spell in hospital during March this year. Throughout her stay, we have been filled with confidence and assurance for Mum’s wellbeing. The whole team at Inspirations has shown total professionalism in guarding themselves and residents against COVID-19 while achieving an unimaginable balance of comfort and contentment with regular meals and refreshment from friendly and polite staff who always took time to chat to Mum and help with any difficulties she may have encountered, such as help with Facetime calling. It was never our intention for Mum to stay permanently at this time, but if circumstances change we would not hesitate to use Inspirations again.

Staff are caring, polite, helpful and informative. Welcoming manner and involved with staff. A brochure was given, helpful, shown around and informative. Always welcoming manner. Received a copy of complaints procedure and a copy of service users guide.

Mum could not be in a better place. She is cared for in a beautiful environment with caring staff who attend to all her needs. It is a huge relief and weight off the family's shoulders to know that she is safe and cared for.

My mother became a resident at Inspirations in early August 2019. She spent 5 weeks in hospital being diagnosed with dementia. The team at Inspirations are excellent, so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. As there is only Mum and I, it was a tough time for me having to ensure Mum was going to be somewhere safe, receiving great care and treated with dignity. Inspirations has ticked all of the boxes for me. Mum has settled in well.

I have been visiting my friend for over 8 years at Inspirations. She suffers from advanced Alzheimer's type dementia. However, Inspirations has provided her with a home in the nicest sense of the word. She has been well cared for and respected. I am always made most welcome as a visitor and therefore feel part of her life. I always feel that she is in safe hands. If I go away on holiday, I am always informed if there are any problems.

My Mother moved here due to where she was living was closing. It was a pure blessing in disguise. The home is truly a home from home. Lovely lounges with coffee tables for when residents have drinks, rather than the table in front of them all day long. Mum has gained weight, is much brighter and happier in herself. She even went on a day trip out recently which made me so happy.

My mother is currently residing at Inspirations. The home is very friendly and staff are very informative keeping me informed about my Mom's health and well being. If I have any worries they are always there for me to talk to. They do activities every week with the residents to keep Mom occupied. I would recommend this home to anybody thinking of finding somewhere for their parents. The staff are always ready to go that extra mile with caring for the residents.

When I go to visit my mother I am always made welcome by members of staff. The residents always look comfortable and content.

The staff and management team have a very difficult job with age and conditions of the residents, but we can't thank them enough for their efforts.

I am happy and satisfied with the care that my brother is receiving at this care home, he is settled and content in his surroundings.

The review with regards to my mother was very informative, friendly and any concerns were dealt with very professionally. I do feel that the staff at Inspirations are very caring, thoughtful, friendly and always professional. I am contacted by telephone with regards to appointments my mother has attended or visitors from various health teams eg. dentist, doctors and nurses. My mother has settled very happily into this care home. After the loss of my father, my mother lost a lot of weight and self-confidence. This has been resolved during her time in Inspirations. A home from home. Inspirations is a welcoming care home with staff who get to know the residents as individuals rather than just old people, mum has blossomed with their care and affection. They always made visitors welcome and have any concerns with us. I have only positives to say about the carers the environment and the fantastic range of activities they provide.
