A close friend has recently gone into Arbour Lodge. The care shown to her was excellent. I have also had a member of my family in Arbour Lodge. I found the care wonderful.
A relative was a resident about three years ago and at the time I was very happy how the home was run. Recently a friend moved into the home and I was extremely surprised at the improvements made and the attention to the care and welfare of the residents. I would not hesitate to recommend Arbour Lodge to anyone.
I have been impressed by the standard of care provided by all the staff at Arbour Lodge.
The staff are extremely dedicated, caring and nothing is ever too much trouble. Even through these last few months they always respond in a cheerful manner to our requests for Facetime and all calls. Mom is always so happy which is reassuring for the family. Big thanks go out to all the team.

Well managed care home with excellent caring staff. Staff are always welcoming kind and friendly and regularly keep in touch with me informing me of my mother’s situation and health. Furthermore her room is very well kept with en-suite.
I’ve written to recommend Arbour Lodge Carehome who have looked after my mother for 18 months now. Everyone is so friendly and kind - it’s always a real pleasure to visit Mum and catch up. I love chatting to the staff, fellow residents and their families. I know before the COVID crisis, they arranged trips, exercise sessions, musical afternoons, crafting and games to encourage and entertain the residents. Mum loves these and it’s clear the others do too. She’s made new friends with the other residents and with the lovely team who care for her which has been a great help. It’s very reassuring knowing she’s safe, well and happy at Arbour Lodge. Recently during the COVID crisis, we’ve faced some of the most serious challenges ever and Care homes have been particularly affected by the virus but despite all this, Arbour Lodge have kept all their residents safe and well with strict health and safety measures. I can highly recommend Arbour Lodge. Thank you.
Mom seems very happy in the home, unfortunately, disappointed we have not been able to see her since March but obviously, that's not the fault of the staff in the care home. I know if there was any problems the staff would be in touch happy to know that mom is well looked after.
Very friendly staff who do a great job looking after mum. Even during these difficult times, they make arrangements for residents to see family members even though it's just through a window. The effort they put in to make a VE Day celebration was very much appreciated.

An exceptional care home run by exceptional staff. Each staff member, from the Manager down, has the interests of the residents at the core of their concern. The staff are well qualified and during the pandemic have shown a level of professionalism/friendliness second to none. It was the first home we looked at and as soon as we walked in we knew we needn't look anywhere else. The staff were happy and the residents were happy too. Spotlessly clean and plenty of stimulation for the residents. Many have Dementia/Alzheimers and they are treated with love, patience and dignity. I can't recommend the home highly enough. Five-star staff in a five-star home.
The manager and all the staff are extremely helpful. They have looked after my dad all through lockdown and have kept him safe, my dad is very happy there. The member of staff who deals with activities within is fantastic. My dad has really taken to her.
My friend has recently gone into Arbour Lodge and I was pleased as I know she will be looked after so well and she will be so happy. I have had family and friends in Arbour Lodge before and they have had excellent care.
Mom has settled in well, made new friends, eating well and happy. Staff always helpful when we call and answer any questions we may have. We know she is safe and been well cared for. When we telephone, we have lovely chats with her and have no concerns about her wellbeing.

On the first evening, I was sent photographs of the home, my mom's room, which is light and clean and the view from her bedroom window. My mom settled very quickly and enjoys the activities that are offered, she loves singing, dancing and crafts. We are sent frequent videos of her participating, it's lovely to see her smiling and enjoying the company of the staff and residents.
The care, service and devotion of all staff is evident and nothing is too much trouble. I can call and speak to my mom on the telephone, and other different media platforms. In addition, we can drive to Arbour Lodge and see my mom and give her a wave at a safe distance.
Mom has been unwell a couple of times recently and every time I have been contacted by management or senior staff, giving clarification of her condition, treatment and care.
Arbour Lodge; A little gem.
Arbour Lodge is truly an amazingly clean, friendly exceptional care home, nothing is too much trouble for the management or their experienced and caring staff. My Mom's room is kept extremely clean along with her laundry that is always washed, ironed and put back in its place. My mom always looks clean and well dressed when any of my family visit. The food always looks well prepared, hot, nutritious and very appetising. They have excellent entertainment and different activities which I feel is very important. Could not wish for a better place for my mom to live. Many thanks to the management and staff.
This is a very caring home and looks after the residents with extreme care. Would have no difficulty in recommending Arbour Lodge.
My elderly mother has had first-class care at Arbour Lodge. The staff helped her to settle in when she first went there and have shown her warmth and friendship. She is safe and secure and is treated with respect and dignity. Highly recommended.
On my friend's recommendation, he cannot praise the care home enough. The time I spent there visiting, I found the staff very welcoming and I would not hesitate to recommend to anybody.
