I have nothing but positive comments about my mother's stay here. All of the staff are warm, caring and professional in their work. The home itself is clean, warm and welcoming and my mother seems very settled here. Our family all feel she is in a safe and caring environment.

We chose to put mom into this home because of the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.

I cannot recommend this care home enough! The manager and her staff provided my uncle with the best care that I could ever have wished for, they made his last few months so so much happier, the love, care and attention that they gave him was outstanding, my only regret is that I didn't move him to this
wonderful home years ago.


The house is beautiful and it is always lovely and clean but the thing that makes this home so special is the lovely staff that work there.


I hope that one day if I ever need to live in a care home that it would be one as special as this one.

When entering the home there was a welcoming feeling and I got an overall good feeling. The staff are kept very busy and I am sure could do with extra help. I feel my husband could do with more exercise and stimulation as his mobility is poor so he sits all the time. The family visit three or four
times weekly.

When working with dementia it can appear very busy, as we have health care professionals visiting and entertainment on occasions, this can also make the environment feel busy.
Our residents all have the opportunity to take part in a progressive mobility programme as well as working on motivation which are delivered by independent companies. Both these independent providers deliver an exercise programme to suit all abilities both mentally and physically, our staff encourage all service users to take part however it is the personal preference of each individual as to whether they wish to take part.

The home is like being part of a family. It is not too big but with the three different lounge areas, there is plenty of space so the residents are not on top of one another and clashes of personality can be avoided. My brother is happy here, gets on with the very pleasant staff who look after him very
well.

After my mother being in two other care homes and looking at a lot of others in the Wolverhampton area, we can recommend this home.
Although sometimes the staff seem to be overworked probably due to understaffing, they are caring and are doing a good job.

Thank you for your response. I can only say that our staff have not felt they are overworked just that due to the nature of dementia care, in particular, it can appear quite busy, especially if there are activities taking place. In addition, we request visits from healthcare professionals for the well-being of our service users as and when required, this can also make the home feel and look very busy. We do ensure our staffing levels meet the required standards and regularly listen to staff feedback.

The care my uncle now receives is a marked improvement. From the previous regime (pre-2017) I feel that carers and management really fo value my uncle's welfare. I feel as his niece and Power of Attorney (and I speak for my son as well) that all concerned are watchful and if they have any concerns about
my uncle, medical or otherwise, they will strive to remedy the situation, whilst allaying my concerns by keeping me fully informed. The staff, including management, have our interests at heart, for which I am grateful.

The management and all of the staff are very welcoming at Arbour Lodge. I am always greeted with a smile whenever I visit. Though my mum has only been here for a few weeks she seems to have settled in.
The food looks good and Mum is now eating well, which often wasn't the case elsewhere. She looks
clean and tidy and her clothes are always freshly laundered. The other residents appear to be happy and the staff chat with them like they're "old friends". My dad visits most days and is always made to feel very welcome, in fact, I think he's looked after almost as well as my mum! Thank you to everyone at Arbour Lodge.

On arrival, staff were always pleasant and helpful. Residents always look comfortable and clean. Meals look well balanced and staff are always happy to help residents with eating, there are plenty of drinks available to visitors and residents. I am very happy to leave my father in the care of these wonderful people. I am greeted with a smile every time I visit and made to feel very welcome. The staff have a great relationship with the residents, often laughing and joking with them, but always showing a high level of professionalism.
