Whitchurch House

I am so delighted, my mother has settled in very well. The level of care is superb, it has transformed her life. She has made many new friends and always enjoys all the activities. The staff are excellent. Thank you all so much.

The team at Whitchurch House have been outstanding over the whole period (7+ years) that my Auntie was a resident. On numerous occasions, the staff went well beyond the call of duty to sort something out or make her stay more enjoyable or fulfilling. Most of them became dear friends, and my Auntie would chat about what they had been up to and how good they were at their jobs - they were so caring, welcoming and friendly, Whitchurch House never really felt like a Care Home, but rather a very comfortable country house that she felt privileged to live in. The food was also regularly reviewed by my Auntie as excellent - and her health always seemed to benefit from good food which she liked to eat. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the service provided and would recommend it to anyone who has an elderly relative in need of residential care and support.

I cannot praise highly enough the level of care and attention my mother-in-law has had since coming to Whitchurch House, they have transformed her life. She has renewed confidence and regained interest which she had lost while struggling at home. She also has company now and has made new friends which wasn't an option at her flat. I highly recommend Whitchurch House to anyone looking for care in a homely environment.

My neighbour is very happy and content at Whitchurch House. She is pleased she finally made the move there. She has found the care and kindness from all the staff exemplary. We are so happy she has found such a lovely place to spend her remaining years, knowing she is being so well looked after.

My Nan is a resident of Whitchurch House and absolutely loves living there. She was extremely self-sufficient and has been living by herself for many years, therefore when she suggested she was going to move to Whitchurch House, naturally I was worried that she wouldn’t like living elsewhere. Thankfully my initial fears were quickly put to rest. Nan is so happy there; the staff are very attentive and extremely friendly. Nan has everything she needs and couldn’t be happier. Her caregiver even contacted me prior to her birthday and at Christmas (knowing I work shifts, often extremely unsociable hours) to ask when I would be available for a group Facetime call, so all the family could speak to her. Those small and often overlooked details are what really matter to someone and consequently, I am extremely happy with the care Nan is receiving. Thank you to all the staff at Whitchurch House for all the amazing work you are doing.

Id like to say that this beautiful home is an amazing place for your relative to be totally looked after. The staff go above and beyond to service the needs of their residents, the grounds are stunning and only a short walk to the river. Would highly recommend you visit if you're in need of care for someone.

My mother-in-law is a resident of Whitchurch House and absolutely loves living there. She is so happy there; she has everything she needs and speaks very highly of all the staff. Her main caregiver arranges Facetime calls which we were able to do over the Christmas period and also on my mother-in-law’s birthday. We are extremely happy with the care she is receiving, so thank you to everyone concerned.

If you are considering residential care for a loved one, then I would strongly recommend a visit, nothing seems too much trouble.

Every time I visit Whitchurch House I am made more than welcome by the wonderful staff and management who always have time to discuss any matters, which I find very reassuring. My friend enjoys the care and attention, which has transformed her life and always praises the staff who are always happy and create a good atmosphere. If you are looking for a well-managed home, with a genuinely homely environment and wonderful staff, I cannot recommend Whitchurch House more highly.

I can't thank the wonderful staff enough for making my life so much better. I am now here full time after having some respite stays. The care and support I receive in this beautiful home have transformed my life. I no longer struggle to cope and have made many new friends to talk, laugh and enjoy activities with.

The staff were particularly caring and efficient when my Mother went through a spell of having to be 'barrier nursed' and latterly, towards the end of her life, she was shown such care and attention neither we nor her G.P. had any qualms about her remaining at Whitchurch House until she passed away.

My grandmother has been at Whitchurch House recently. They have completely transformed her life. She is very well cared for in a lovely environment by wonderful staff who show care and compassion greeting everyone with a smile. I cannot recommend Whitchurch House highly enough to anyone looking for a quality care home which feels homely and un-institutionalised.

The care and company my sister received made her life so much more bearable. She was very well looked after and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I have been visiting my friend at Whitchurch House for some years now. In that time her quality of life had improved dramatically with the help from the wonderful staff and managers. I have visited other homes in the past, but none compare withWhitchurch House. It really does have a homely feel with lots going on to keep the residents entertained and included. All the staff are very friendly and make everyone very welcome. If I ever needed a care home it would be this one.

My father spent the last year of his life at Whitchurch House. It is a very professionally run care home. The management and owners are excellent. The staff ae all fantastic. there is very little turnover in staff and they go out of their way to spend time talking and listening to the residents. It has a real homely atmosphere. My father was able to make special requests as to what he would like for breakfast or dinner and these were alway accommodated. My father felt loved and respected whilst living there and thoroughly enjoyed the 12 months he spent at Whitchurch House. I would definitely recommend it to others.
